Hi Brandon, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Been in sales since 16 years old, sales management since 18 years old. Founded a retail business selling massage chairs at 26 years old. Started building Cleri field service management cloud software two years ago. It’s been an eye opening and challenging journey to this point. Wrapping up implementing beta tester feedback and officially launching Feb 1st

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Both businesses have been challenging in many ways, but building, problem solving, connecting with customers is equally rewarding. Regarding Wisewell, pivoting to commercial and dealer-based sales got us through the difficulties of store shutdown and convention center cancellations during the pandemic. With Cleri, I found out quickly that business acumen in retail does not directly translate into the tech space. I learned the criticality in prioritizing tasks and “tech debt”, how to manage a team not of salesmen, but of developers. I had to learn the true power of revenue operations, the capabilities and limitations of existing tech tools, etc. etc. I basically went from feeling like a pro to an absolute newb, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Cleri is blue collar business software made simple. A single platform to manage trade service business operations from end to end. The online platform serves as your company’s customer and employee database, wrapped in an intuitive and minimalist user interface. Cleri organizes the entire workflow through the customer cycle, from lead to service request, price quote to job scheduling, invoice to payment. Instant updates between the mobile app for field crew and the web app for back office users, the entire team stays connected. One tool for employee management, from punch in to job scheduling, load lists to inventory tracking, building estimates and communicating with customers. We’ve started with an AI assistant, Cleo, that minimizes clicks by completing user tasks via natural commands. On the roadmap, Cleo will transform into an AI agent that works autonomously to keep your business operating efficiently, without being told what to do.

What makes you happy?
Thinking deeply about others, maybe because it distracts me from my own struggles, Maybe because it reminds me that I am like everyone else, experiencing joy and suffering, gain and loss, all together. And being active, because it is a way to honor my body, to clear my mind, feel gratitude for my fingers and toes. Asking for help, being humbled, and helping when I can. Diving into things headfirst, having full faith and taking risk.
