Today we’d like to introduce you to Carey Meinert
Hi Carey, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I moved to Colorado from Minnesota 20 years ago with two small children, and from the moment we arrived, I fell in love with everything this state has to offer. The mountains, the active lifestyle, and the sense of adventure have been a perfect match for me and my family.
My passion for wellness started early—I earned a degree in Physical Education and Health, and over the years, I’ve worked in various wellness fields. Eventually, I branched out on my own and now have a home office where I support clients through holistic health coaching, BioScan Testing and Emotion Code work. More recently, I’ve been collaborating with InFlo Collective to host wellness retreats, as well as making our services available for other retreats looking to bring in holistic healing modalities.
Along this journey, I have also been handcrafting jewelry under the design name LuQu Designs. Through creating wearable art that reflects my love for nature, energy, and creativity. It has been a beautiful way to express myself and share something meaningful with others. While I don’t have a big online presence, I truly enjoy doing In-home jewelry pop-up shops, where people can experience my designs up close and find pieces that speak to them.
When I’m not working with clients or designing jewelry, you’ll find me out snowboarding, mountain biking, playing pickleball or paddleboarding—fully embracing the outdoor lifestyle that Colorado offers. My Husband and I also love taking our converted camper van on adventures, exploring all the beauty this state has to offer.
Beyond my work and passions, I have two wonderful adult children, an incredible husband of 29 years and two fantastic dogs who keep life joyful and full. My journey in Colorado has been one of growth, creativity, and deep connection, and I’m excited for what’s ahead!”
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The journey has been incredibly rewarding, but it hasn’t always been a smooth road. Going out on my own and paving my own way in the wellness space was both exciting and challenging. Traditional health and wellness approaches often focus on just one aspect of well-being, but I’ve always believed in a more holistic view—one that looks at the mind, body, and soul as deeply interconnected.
Shifting into this kind of work meant stepping outside the conventional wellness model and educating people on the power of energy healing, BioScans, and intuitive coaching. Early on, there were moments of doubt—wondering if people would truly understand and embrace these healing modalities. But I knew in my heart that this work was needed. I’ve seen firsthand how addressing emotional and energetic imbalances can create profound healing, and that has kept me moving forward.
Building a business from the ground up also came with its challenges—navigating the logistics, learning to balance my time, and trusting in the process. But every challenge has been an opportunity to grow, both personally and professionally. Now, seeing the transformations in my clients, collaborating with like-minded practitioners, and expanding into retreats makes every step of the journey worth it.
It’s been a path of perseverance, trust, and passion, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.”
As you know, we’re big fans of CareyOnWellnessCO. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
CareyOnWellness is all about guiding people toward true healing by addressing the mind, body, and soul. I specialize in holistic health coaching, BioScan technology, and Emotion Code work—helping clients release trapped emotions, restore energetic balance, and uncover the root causes of health issues. My approach goes beyond just physical wellness; I focus on deep emotional healing and intuitive coaching to create lasting transformation.
What sets CareyOnWellness apart is the combination of science-backed BioScan technology with intuitive energy healing. Many wellness practices focus solely on nutrition or fitness, but I take a whole-person approach, helping clients tap into their body’s innate ability to heal. I also integrate mindfulness, grounding practices, and natural healing methods to support overall well-being.
Brand-wise, I am most proud of the trust and relationships I’ve built with my clients. Seeing people break free from emotional blocks, improve their health, and feel more in tune with themselves is incredibly rewarding. I’ve also expanded my work by collaborating with InFlo Collective to bring holistic healing into retreat settings, allowing even more people to experience deep transformation in a supportive, immersive environment.
For those looking for a holistic way to heal, CareyOnWellness offers a safe, compassionate space to explore what’s really holding you back—whether it’s physical symptoms, emotional pain, or energetic imbalances. Healing is a journey, and I’m here to help people navigate it with tools, insight, and support that truly make a difference.”
Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
My biggest advice for those just starting out—whether in holistic health, entrepreneurship, or their own healing journey—is to trust yourself and your body. Your intuition is one of your greatest tools, and your body is always communicating with you. Learning to listen to those signals—whether it’s through physical symptoms, emotions, or energy shifts—can guide you toward what you truly need.
If you’re stepping into holistic wellness, either as a practitioner or for your own healing, know that this path isn’t always linear. There will be moments of doubt, times when others don’t understand your approach, and challenges that push you outside your comfort zone. But staying true to your passion and purpose will always lead you in the right direction.
For entrepreneurs, be patient with the process. Building something meaningful takes time, and comparison can be a major distraction. Stay focused on your unique gifts, keep learning, and surround yourself with people who uplift and inspire you.
Most importantly, remember that healing—whether personal or professional—is about flow, not force. Trust the journey, honor where you are, and know that every step forward, no matter how small, is still progress.
