Hi Cassie, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
It was the winter of 2018, just a few months after I got married. I didn’t know it at the time, but my body was slowly breaking down and I was ignoring the signs. One day, I felt a crack in my ribs and suddenly couldn’t breathe. My husband rushed me to the ER, where I spent 7 days recovering, not only from a rib fracture, but from several other issues I had no idea were there.
I spent the next year on 24/7 oxygen, had multiple surgeries, and my depression became so intense that I had to take a leave of absence from work. Then COVID hit, and I was laid off. During the pandemic, all of my time was focused on healing.
I revisited a passion I had when I was much younger and reconnected to the essence of the divine life force that is all around us. I became a Reiki master, a crystal practitioner, and an energy healer. From there, I started Divine Journey Boutique to help pave the way for others on their healing journey, to make it feel easier, to help them learn the skills faster, and to have support as they move through the layers one step at a time.
Today, I have a Youtube channel “Hot Mess Mystic” and I am writing a book to help people understand that they are not broken, they are operating under conditioning they didn’t choose, but they can rewrite their story. They can honor the memories and the lessons, but also recognize when something no longer applies.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has definitely not been a smooth road. I started Divine Journey Boutique in 2021 and began doing mystic festivals and expos. I didn’t know what to expect, I just knew I wanted to connect with people and offer crystals, tools, and products to support them on their journey.
Those shows have been a great experience for customers and a valuable way to build visibility, but I’ve learned they work best as a marketing tool rather than a main source of income. That was an important lesson in understanding how to build something sustainable.
On a personal level, being on a healing journey while also building a business brings its own challenges. As you evolve, new layers come to the surface, and it can feel uncomfortable or uncertain at times. Learning to give myself grace through each phase has been one of the most important parts of the process.
I’m actually in a season of growth right now, and while it’s not always easy, it’s part of what allows me to show up more honestly and support others in a deeper way. This season has inspired me to write my book and use my YouTube channel as a way to gain more visibility, while also spreading the message of grace, even when it’s messy.

Divine Journey Boutique is centered around helping women reconnect with themselves in a way that feels real, supportive, and doable. I offer crystals, energy healing tools, and guidance for those who are feeling overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or unsure of their next step.
What I specialize in is helping people understand how to actually work with these tools in their everyday lives, not just what they are or what they mean. A lot of people are drawn to crystals and energy work, but don’t always know how to use them in a way that creates real change. That’s where I come in.
What sets me apart is that I don’t believe in perfection or “high vibe only” energy. Healing can be messy, emotional, and uncomfortable at times, and I create space for that. I focus on giving people practical ways to move through what they’re experiencing while still honoring where they are.
I’m most proud of the way my brand supports people without making them feel like they need to be fixed. The message behind everything I do is simple, you’re not broken, you’re working through something that can be shifted.
Whether someone connects with me through my products, my content, or my upcoming book, my goal is for them to feel seen, supported, and a little more empowered to take their next step.
We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
Oh, that’s a hard one. Success to me means having more peace in my life, and knowing that the people I help are experiencing more peace in theirs as well.
Sometimes, peace is the hardest thing to achieve because it requires you to look inward. It doesn’t come from external events, people, or situations, it comes from knowing yourself deeply and understanding that the conditioning around us doesn’t have to define us.
We get to choose, and that choice can either bring us peace or more frustration.
