Mane House Salon was always more than an idea—it was a name Mariah had held in her heart since the very beginning of her journey in the hair industry. From the moment she picked up her first pair of shears, she knew that one day, she would bring Mane House to life. After spending 10 years behind the chair, building her craft, growing her clientele, and learning the ins and outs of the industry, Mariah felt the time was right to finally open the doors to the salon she had always imagined.

But this dream wasn’t hers alone. Mane House was brought to life by a husband-and-wife team—Mariah, with her decade of experience in hair, and Chad, with over 15 years of expertise in business strategy. Together, they combined passion and precision, creativity and structure, vision and execution to create something truly special.

From day one, they knew they wanted to build more than just a beautiful salon—they wanted to create a home. A space where stylists could thrive, feel valued, and be inspired. A space where clients could feel comfortable, cared for, and confident. Every detail of Mane House was designed to reflect that core belief: that people flourish when they feel at home.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Definitely not been a smooth road and we have faced many challenges and hurdles but we have always been determined to overcome them. Some challenges have been selecting the right technology partner, simple things like not having correct lighting in the salon, manual processes that needed to be automated, etc.

Our vision has always been it’s not win or lose, it’s win or learn. We learn from our mistakes and always aim to be better

We’ve been impressed with Mane House Salon , but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Mane House Salon is a full service hair salon in Fort Collins. We have a team of incredibly talented stylists who specialize in everything from custom color, blinding, extensions, and any hair service you can dream up.

What sets Mane House apart is its heart. Creating a strong, positive culture has been at the center of everything we do. We’re passionate about providing a space where stylists are more than just employees—they’re family. Here, they feel supported, encouraged, and free to express their artistry. Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
We have so many people to thank and look up to but most of all we thank our amazing team. The dream was Mariah and Chads but it’s come to life thanks to the amazing team of stylist who have made this dream a reality. We truly believe we have the best team around and it wouldn’t be possible without each one of them
