Today we’d like to introduce you to Chelsea Gifford
Hi Chelsea, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
There was a pivotal moment when I was a teenager as I sat on my front porch crying thinking about the environment. I was training to be an actress and in various entertainment modalities like singing, dancing, music lessons, and thought I would live in Chelsea, New York. When I considered the trajectory of our earth, I made a decision to change course. I left Nashville, Tennessee and went to Boulder, Colorado to receive an environmental studies degree, which led to a deep interest in sustainability, permaculture, and honeybees. I wrote my thesis on colony collapse disorder, which got published as a book and I learned how honeybees are teachers on a multitude of levels. My next chapters led to four years of being a wilderness therapy guide in Colorado and Utah, traveling with a backpack around many countries, living in South America for eight months, and applying to get my Masters of Divinity. Through a series of events, I found myself in a death doula training, which radically shifted my perspective on life. It was then that I decided to ditch social work school and attend three years of Divinity school at Naropa University. When the pandemic hit, I let go of my assisted living facility hat and chaplaincy role, and stepped into leading online events, support people’s gut healing through superfoods, and leading 13-week Sophia Code Circles activating our Divine Genome for these pivotal times we are living in. I met my partner, had a child, who is now 3 years old, and we built out the Yoga Center of Denver as a multifaceted yoga, workshop, spa, and 7000 sq. ft. event space. I have now led eleven 13-week Sophia Code circles, we won best yoga center with Best of Mile High in 2024 and are nominated in 2025, I have been a Sacred Scheduling coach for individuals and groups, lead a couple Sacred Life Mission Summits a year, and just bought 35 acres in FairPlay to build an off grid space for our family and community to enjoy. I am stepping into more online spaces of teaching, traveling, trading, and coaching and it is certainly is a beautiful unfolding and exploration.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Absolutely not. It was an interesting choice to pivot from chaplaincy to a spiritual leader, which is not widely understood by people. It was a very challenging to build, run, and own a yoga studio and leader of many people as I was navigating the transition to motherhood. It has been a series of initiations to stay connected with my responsibilities, my heart, and surrender to the path that was unfolding beyond my understanding. However, even though I have been juggling a variety of roles and positions, I am grateful that I continued to offer my coaching through all of it, which feeds my soul in a deep and genuine way. There are many golden nuggets, gifts, and wisdom that I am receiving on the other side of deep emotional valleys.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I created a course called The Art of Sacred Scheduling for Spiritual Entrepreneurs and have been coaching individuals and groups to align their schedule with their Divinity and Sacred Mission. I have also been leading 13-week Sophia Code Circles for individuals and groups to upgrade their chromosomes and create bridges of light from the carbon based DNA to crystalline DNA, which can happen just by reading the transmission of the book. I am now leading my eleventh circle. I began Sacred Life Mission LLC to house those two organizations. I also have an online business of physical and digital products with MyDailyChoice because I know that freedom means choices. I lead free Sacred Life Mission Summits twice a year and my next one is April 28 – May 8th. I love bringing people together who desire to live their live in alignment with their Sacred Life Mission and are connected to the fact that they are here for a reason. They want all of the best technology to make it through and thrive within this unraveling of the old and creation of the new.
Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
I want to thank Kaia Ra for birthing The Sophia Code and creating a massive amount of content and curriculums to support us as we navigate this unique time in human history. I want to thank my coach Jolie Dawn for coaching me in how to create a sustainable coaching business with her Creatrix Academy. I want to thank my marketing company that supports me Klatch. I want to thank my Yoga Center of Denver team for keeping that space a sanctuary for our community and clients. I want to thank my partner and daughter for continuing to ride this journey with me. I want to thank the Ascended Masters for their unconditional love, my Sophia Code clients and Sacred Scheduling clients, and Mother Earth for continuing to support this journey.
