Today we’d like to introduce you to Cristina Twigg.

Hi Cristina, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Daughter of a Brazilian diplomat, born in DC, and having called seven countries home, I’m a psychedelic guide with a specialty in cannabis journeywork.

I spent decades working jobs I hated, and in 2022 I finally started using my free time for good and allowed myself to get back into my passion: acting. After two years of community theater, I realized I’d been serious for far too long. Always getting things done, doing the right thing, working for tomorrow while feeling miserable today. I needed to remember what it was like to play—to reconnect with the freedom and joy I had as a kid. That’s why I trained at the Center for Medicinal Mindfulness to become a Psychedelic Guide.

Just like theater, these studies have brought me back to what truly matters: connection, self-love, and inner healing. Guided cannabis journeywork experiences helped me rediscover myself, and now I feel called to help others do the same.

And so I have my own practice now, Liminal Dimensions, where I lead virtual journeywork sessions (with or without cannabis) to help people explore their inner worlds and connect to themselves. It’s about holding space while people access their vulnerability and rediscover themselves. It’s the most rewarding work I’ve ever done, and I am so grateful to be here.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Like most, my journey has been full of peaks and valleys. I’ve met incredible people at every job, but struggled with overwhelming imposter syndrome. I’ve felt the urge to leave positions, but stayed to make ends meet. I’ve battled severe anxiety and self-loathing, losing sleep and feeling stuck in frustration.

And yet, I’ve been incredibly fortunate. People have taken chances on me, opening doors I never imagined. I even started my own babysitting agency in NYC (where I lived for nearly a decade before moving to CO). It did well—until COVID shut it down.

But my failures have shaped me just as much as my successes—maybe even more. They’ve taught me resilience—the courage to stand tall, learn, and keep moving forward.

We’ve been impressed with Liminal Dimensions Ltd., but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am a psychedelic guide with a specialty in cannabis journeywork. Journeywork is when individuals take time to go inward and explore who they really are. Some people journey solo, others prefer to have a psychedelic guide there to help them feel supported and grounded.

That’s where I come in.

Whether they take cannabis or not, journeyers take time to breathe, to reflect, and to learn truths about themselves. Some are hard truths they’ve been avoiding for years, and others are beautiful truths they need help accepting and integrating. They all lead to the same result: self discovery.

I offer curated sessions designed with the individual’s personal goals in mind. I’m not here to fix people, but rather, to walk beside them while they remember who they are.

There are different packages available depending on what kind of journey a person wants, and since there is no one-size-fits-all approach in the self-care space, we can always create something that’s just right for the individual.

What matters most to you? Why?
What matters to me most is connection. I get my energy from talking to people and collaborating with them, and I truly think working together toward a common goal is what unites us. I want to help people feel like themselves. There’s nothing more powerful than witnessing journeyers bravely step into the journey space, access their vulnerability, and rediscover themselves.
