Exploring Life & Business with Danie Dodd of Goddess Divine Healing

Today we’d like to introduce you to Danie Dodd.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I started my Reiki journey over 6 and a half years ago. I was gifted my first class by a family friend. I had never experienced Reiki before but decided to go ahead with it. When you are learning Reiki, you are given what are called attunements or activations, so you are able call in and use the energy. After the class and attunements, you become a Reiki practitioner. I never thought anything would come of it but after experiencing it I was hooked. A few months later I took my level 2 class with my master teacher and my master teacher class a year after that. 2 and half years after my first class I started my own business giving Reiki to people. Through Reiki my other abilities opened up and started to blossom. I am also natural intuitive/ psychic reader as well all thanks to Reiki. I work some of the local metaphysical fairs and have my own office where I offer Reiki and readings.

For those that don’t know what Reiki is. It is an ancient form of Japanese healing that uses what is called universal life force energy channeled through my hands to help with many ailments. I like to call it a massage for your energy body vs your physical body. It can help with pain, swelling, anxiety, stress, and promotes healing on many levels.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The road to where I am has been a very interesting process. I never even thought about owning my own business let alone being able to help others in the capacity I do. A friend of mine suggested I start my own business and I kind of laughed at the idea. One of my biggest struggles was getting out there are being able to talk about myself and what I do. At first, I struggled to explain it and then once I got that down it became easy. The confidence to talk about yourself is not always easy. Getting out there was in fact my biggest challenge even though I am very outgoing. But I did it and have no problem doing so now.

My most resent struggle has been trying to find a new location for my business. The location I have my office is closing. Through this process I realized I have the ability to be mobile as well as have a home location if necessary.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I am natural intuitive, Psychic, channel and Reiki Master. While working on the client I tap into their energy and deliver messages from their guides, angles and loved ones. As well as give them Reiki to help relax and promote healing. If the client is in front of me for just an intuitive or Psychic reading, they will still be receiving Reiki energy. I also offer energy clearings and cord cuttings to help remove energetic blocks. Because I am able to be mobile with my work, I offer house and space clearings as well. Clearing away any negative or stuck energy and in doing so can help raise the vibration of your house, office, land etc. I can tap into the energies and see if a sprit needs help crossing over and help them do so as well. All of these gifts and abilities started to blossom when I started my Reiki journey.

Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
I love being able to help others. I was a pharmacy technician for 8 and a half years prior to starting my business. Through that time, I realized that I thoroughly enjoyed the ability I had to help others. Although in pharmacy I was not able to help them in the capacity I would have liked to. I enjoy getting to know people on a personal level. I am such a people person and knowing I can make an impact on them with the gift of Reiki it makes me very happy. To know that other are in less pain or able to sleep easier because of something I was able to provide them brings me joy.
