Hi Dante, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Hi! Im Dante Burl and I am the face and founder of Cap & Co Interiors! I have a design degree and background in fashion but have always had a passion for interior design! I have been a Realtor® here in Denver for 9 years now, and interior design and my love for homes is what excites me everyday! I have always enjoyed designing my personal homes, but I also have been helping friends and family with home design for years, unofficially, and so when clients started to ask for my help I decided to make it official, and Cap & Co was born earlier this year! I am currently offering my virtual design services which includes room by room design, and will be offering in person and larger projects in the fall!

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Cap & Co is still very new, but it definitely was a long road to get here. Like I said I have been in Real Estate for 9 years now, but design has always been my passion, and so to turn it into a business was pretty scary and took years for me to actually take the leap. I am a mama to a 3 year old boy, so I am trying to soak up as much time with him before he goes to school in August, so i haven’t had a ton of time to really start to market Cap & Co, but once he is in school, its go time!

Cap & Co Interiors is an interior design or home design company! Cap & Co was founded earlier this year and is currently offering virtual design offerings, specifically our concept image services. I will be offering in person and larger scale design projects in the fall!

Our design concept image service offers the digital design of spaces, aiming to provide clients with a seamless and personalized experience, helping transform their vision for their interior spaces into reality while staying within their budget! This offer includes a customer consultation, digital design process, budget considerations, presentation of design concept and implementation support. For this offering it is all done digitally, so the client purchases and styles themselves, based on the design we provide.

With a design background and years of “unofficial” design work, I like to think that my style is refined and caters to the masses. Working with clients and their vision/style and blending it with mine, is what is fun and challenging about interior design! I’m a firm believer that your living space is an extension of you and should make you feel happy! Turning a house into a home is what Cap & Co is all about!

What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
I think the most important lesson i have learned along my journey is to just go for it. I have been wanting to start this company for years, but being in Real Estate full time and listening to the “noise” of others, has stopped me countless times. If you can find a way to turn your passion in to a job or career, do it!
