Hi Dawn, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Marty & Dawn Montgomery have continued to carry the torch that Rod Beck and Jack Hunt (thus, the B&H) had started in 1963 and that Gary Montgomery carried for over 30 years. We are still located in the Littleton/Denver community to provide the best products to our loyal customers that we have come to know and serve.
Marty opened Renegade B&H Sports in 2012. The business has continued to grow over the years and we have enjoyed our relationship with the communities that we serve.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Our road has been maneuvered with uphill struggles and downhill cruising. Our survival during Covid showed our capability to get thru adversity. We have continued to morph our offerings to what is feasible in our everchanging world. The costs of blank products has proven to be quite a challenge, but we are finding ways to provide customers customized apparel for reasonable pricing.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
We specialize in custom ordering for uniforms and sports apparel and provide custom embroidery, screen printing, decals, tackle twill, and chenille for letter jackets. We help our area leagues and teams to outfit their players for their uniform needs.

We are especially proud of our association with all of the area and schools across the state. We are one of the largest suppliers of letter jackets for the Front Range and Denver metro areas, and an exclusive dealer of Ripon letter jackets which are made in the USA. Our letter jackets are all custom decorated here in our store and with our partners in tailoring.

Renegade also offers custom school logo garments for many area high schools that are manufactured here in our store.

Need a ball glove re-laced? Bring your well loved ball glove to us. We provide baseball glove re-lacing as well as Custom Leather patch work.

The most important aspect of our business is the relationships we build with our customers.

We love being part of a community. It is heartwarming to have customers come into our store, and know each other from sports or school.
We offer custom uniform fittings, so we have many folks come in and end up visiting while they are here.
