Exploring Life & Business with Deanna Gloyd of Tools of Energy Protection

Today we’d like to introduce you to Deanna Gloyd.

Hi Deanna, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
Imagine life knowing things that other people did not, or being able to read the intentions of others when they were hiding behind a mask of deception. It made for a rather awkward beginning in life. Being raised in the rural South, in a strict Christian fundamentalist church by a narcissistic parent did not lend itself to being born a highly sensitive empath.

My early education consisted of playing amongst the crops, exploring the barn, and riding bareback without the use of a saddle. These happy days, I spent talking with my spirit guides, learning about nature, bonding with horses, and discovering that my friends did not have “imaginary friends” to talk to. Quickly, I learned how to keep things to myself, not ask questions about what happened after the book of Revelation, and how to adjust to being a “weirdo” in social circles at school, church, and my extended family.

Leaping into early adulthood, I struggled to find a job that suited me. I often landed in customer service jobs and felt extremely drained every day after work. Relationships were unsatisfying and I found myself pouring all my energy into wounded men only to see them marry the very next person they dated after me. Heartbreaking until I remembered that I had a special gift, and that gift allowed me to infuse wounded people with healing energy. That was a turning point in my life. How could I manage my natural ability with my life and not feel completely depleted and heartbroken?

It was time to choose to accept my destiny and my reason for being. There is a saying, “Ask and the door is open,” and there is another saying, “Be careful what you ask for.” I asked for God to reveal himself to me twice in my life, and let’s just say that I was never disappointed. The second time a being of light appeared to me standing at the foot of my bed and said, “Follow me and I will make you fishers of men.”

As you can imagine seeing a full-on apparition of a man dressed in a white robe face glowing is not without its palpitations of the heart, and time seemed to stop for a moment. I did not ask any more questions. The next night the being of light appeared, and this time extended his hand out toward me. Being frightened, I thought to myself I am not going to reach out and take his hand. Again, he spoke the same statement, and for a moment I lost my fear asking if I could be fishers of women as well. He replied yes and I lost consciousness until the morning.

From that day forward the gifts that I had suppressed as a child, and a few additional ones, began to surface rapidly. I felt lost as I began to awaken until I met my mentor Robert Detzler and I learned my first powerful healing modality.

Along the way, I have faced many challenges as my gift of knowing was often harnessed by companies that only paid me minimum wage. Endless days of feeling drained, and wondering why my energy shields were not working.  Evenings were often filled with both benevolent and malevolent spirits appearing and speaking without reverence for my personal space.

Today I teach spiritual seekers and sensitive souls who are ready to come out of the chaos, and master a unique, confident, direct path to personal empowerment. Because most are unclear, confused, and floundering just like everyone else, so they are not discovering the power within.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I help spiritual seekers to feel more peaceful by discovering the power within. By working with me you will learn what has been blocking you from feeling loved, accepted, and able to manifest anything you have ever desired. Energies that block can often express themselves as depression, anxiety, or low self esteem. And when you experience those energies no amount of mantras, affirmations, or afformations will bring you any closer to creating in your life the romantic partner that you have always wanted, the winning lottery ticket number you have been dreaming of, or the relief from chronic illness. If you are on the verge of giving up ever feeling like you are worthy of living a joyful and full life . . .if you have allowed others to cross your boundaries for the last time . . . if you are ready to take your power back . . .we should talk.

What sets me apart from others? My clients tell me that after working with me they feel lighter, like a huge burden has been lifted from them. During the session, people often tell me that they feel their head tingling or pain disappears from their body. Ghosts that no one else could release from them or their homes are gone and their peace of mind, or dream state is once again peaceful.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
That is a matter of perspective. First, let me say that SPIRIT / God / Source will always take care of you, and always provide for you. It is up to you to be able to recognize when the manna from heaven so to speak is put right in front of you. I think that is the most challenging part. When you are in receivership then yes it goes smoothly. Let’s just say that sometimes it got a little bumpy for me (smiling face).
