Hi Emily, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers.
I believe the inception of Luxe Llama Productions, my entertainment company, started a long time ago. As a child, I began performing at a young age by dancing and twirling my baton in the Parade of Lights when I was around 4 years old.

Throughout my childhood, I took ballet, tap, hip-hop, modern, and jazz dance classes, as dance was my true passion. I continued dancing enthusiastically throughout high school, initially intending to pursue it as a career. However, my involvement in choir and musical theater during high school changed my path. The combination of singing and dancing had a profound impact on people and ignited a fire within me.

Immediately after high school, I started working professionally as a singer/dancer in musicals, with various bands, and for entertainment companies in Michigan, Los Angeles, and Denver. Over the past 25 years, that baton-twirling little girl has had the opportunity to gain extensive experience and insights into the industry while performing at countless events nationwide.

This firsthand knowledge has revealed areas that need improvement within this niche sector of the industry. As a result, Luxe Llama Productions aims to provide its clients with a fresh and unique experience.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Being a working artist is inherently challenging. It involves frequent traveling, unpredictable hours, irregular income, and significant time away from loved ones. However, my high motivation and focus have sustained me throughout the years, along with the invaluable support of friends and family.

I embrace challenges on my journey as opportunities for learning and personal growth. Although I have faced setbacks along this path, I have always managed to rise and persevere. I believe that I will continue to progress with resilience, just as I have done in the past.

I welcome challenges on my journey as opportunities to learn and grow. I have fallen many times on this path, but each time I have gotten up and kept going. I’d like to think that I will continue to move forward with grace as I have in the past.

Luxe Llama Productions offers a wide range of music options, catering to different preferences and events. Our offerings include small acoustic duos and trios, full bands with horn sections, percussion, and dancers, DJs, electric strings, variety bands, and specialty acts.

In addition, we also provide custom-designed concert productions for music enthusiasts who want to host private concerts for their guests. These music experiences are unique, intimate, and unlike any other product on the market. Currently, we have two private concert experiences available, with a third concert production coming soon.

Luxe Llama Productions combines the excitement of a rock concert with the artistry of Cirque du Soleil. These events leave a lasting impression on guests and become memorable talking points for years to come. We strive to elevate the event experience by incorporating unforgettable choreography, pyrotechnics, costumes, and LED screen designs.

We all have different ways of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
To achieve success, I believe in supporting, respecting, and valuing artists, including myself, while also bringing joy to audiences.

Additionally, I aim to create a positive change in the music and entertainment industry by challenging outdated norms regarding age, gender, race, and other long-standing issues.
