Originally from Istanbul, Turkey, I was immersed in the vibrant hustle of my family’s textile business from a young age. This early exposure to hard work, intricacies of trade, and the importance of customer relationships formed the foundation of my business acumen.

Seeking new horizons, I moved to California in 2004 to learn English and navigate through life’s challenges, including overcoming significant immigration hurdles. This period was pivotal, as it tested my resilience and determination. My transition from construction work, building high-end homes in places like Hawaii and California, to settling in Denver in 2015, was driven by my affinity for the mountains and a desire for a life that felt more connected and meaningful.

My real estate career began here in Denver, where I joined Compass and co-founded The Hero Team. Drawing on my construction experience, I have a keen eye for detail that has proved invaluable in helping over 200 clients navigate the buying and selling process with ease and confidence. My approach has always been about more than just transactions; it’s about building relationships and helping people find homes that resonate with their lives and aspirations.

Beyond the bounds of real estate, my personal journey took a transformative turn with my first ayahuasca ceremony. This profound experience opened a new path of healing and spiritual exploration. Over the years, participating in over 200 ceremonies, I’ve learned from numerous shamans and healers, deepening my understanding of this sacred medicine. This led to my vision of opening an Ayahuasca/Plant medicine retreat center aimed at healing and renewal for others.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
My journey has been fraught with profound challenges, both personal and professional, shaping me into the person I am today. One of the most harrowing periods was a painful divorce in Santa Barbara, which profoundly affected my life, particularly the heartbreaking times I couldn’t see my daughter. That period tested my emotional resilience to its limits.

Health issues have also cast long shadows along my path. I’ve battled a relentless colon disease, chronic headaches with elusive causes, and persistent back and joint pain, complicating everyday activities and dampening my spirit. These physical ailments have been not only a physical burden but also a source of significant emotional and mental strife.

Financial and job stability posed further hurdles. As a new immigrant, committed to building a life here, I found myself accepting any work available, from driving taxis to performing hotel maintenance, and laboring on construction sites. Each of these jobs, though humbling, was a stark reminder of how far removed I was from my professional aspirations, often leaving me to question my future.

However, these tumultuous times have imparted crucial lessons in resilience and adaptability. I’ve learned to manage my expectations, to show up every day regardless of the circumstances, and to respond to challenges with a clear head and a resilient heart. This has not only been about overcoming the obstacles but also about how I’ve responded to them. Through consistency and a renewed sense of purpose, I’ve discovered strength and clarity, guiding me through ongoing challenges with a more robust spirit and a clearer perspective.
