Hi Haley, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?

The Queen City Cookie Cult is creating community around the love of cookies! We are flavor adventures creating handmade cookies made with love. We focus on cult favorite flavors!

I’ve always been a baker since I was a little girl. Baking cookies for my family and friends. And I’ve always had a sweet tooth so being able to find a creative outlet while enjoying a sweet treat was so much fun!

In high school I was alway baking cookies for my boyfriend (who is now actually my husband)…pretty sure that’s why we’re married! He just can’t get enough haha

I’ve always had an entrepreneurial spirit and my friends and coworkers kept asking for cookies for birthdays and holidays. One of my friends asked me to join her at a holiday market and the cookies totally took off. I was shook by the interest and excitement behind them. So I decided to take it more seriously and that’s when I created my brand, logo, and messaging behind the Queen City Cookie Cult.

Since then, I created a weekly cookie subscription for my customers, taking online orders, and doing Pop-up events at local coffee shops and breweries. One of my favorite thing to do is collaborate with a brewery and pair cookies with their beer!

The Queen City Cookie Cult is passionate about creating cult favorite flavors into ur cookies. Our fan favorite is our “big a*s cookie” a 6oz sea salt chocolate chip cookie.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
As with all businesses, being an entrepreneur is not always easy. Sometimes your dreams aren’t strong enough to succeed. You need to set realistic goals and even if you know your product is amazing, getting the product to the public can be challenging.
