Hi Maggie, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Before moving to Colorado and starting my own wedding planning business, I graduated with a degree in Event Management from Iowa State University. The first few years of my career consisted of planning wine and beer festivals and working at a winery planning tasting events and coordinating weddings.

After I moved to Colorado in 2019, I noticed that many event venues required an outside day of coordinator to be hired for weddings, which led to me starting my own coordination company.

Since then, I expanded my services to include full and partial wedding planning and I have been so lucky to plan and coordinate weddings all over Colorado for the past five years.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Starting my business right before Covid made it difficult to grow as quickly as I was hoping to but it forced me to slow down and build my business the way I wanted and to attract my ideal couples.

I have met so many amazing people in this industry and gotten to work with the most wonderful couples.
