Today we’d like to introduce you to Rhiannon Middleton.

Hi Rhiannon, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I am a Colorado native and grew up in Longmont. I moved to Denver in my mid-20s to go to school and become a human services major. I wanted to work with homeless families or in addiction. After I graduated with a bachelor’s from Metro State University. I worked as a family advocate for many years. Working full time, raising a family, and the stress of daily life really started to take a toll on my body, and I knew self-care was and is so important, especially in the helping field. I started finding myself learning and falling in love with plants, my favorite being herbs that I could use to support my body and help with some of my health stuff. physically and mentally. During Covid, working from home and not driving so much, I had extra time, so I began taking classes and learning a lot, then before I knew it, I had a plan, and doing some soul searching, I decided I wanted to open a store. I want to create a healing community where everyone is welcome, and the goal is to heal ourselves through plants, Art, or whatever else comes up.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I definitely love what I am doing, but some things have been hard. Of course, I have to work within my budget financially. I am also new in Loveland, and besides my amazing parents and brother, I have had to find a new community. I am still struggling to do enough marketing and have enough business.

What were you like growing up?
i grew up in Colorado, so I always loved nature and mountains, camping, hiking, and I was very explorative and loved going on adventures.
