Today we’d like to introduce you to Robyn Balsley

Hi Robyn, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Spending most of my career in corporate sales, I collaborated with Fortune 500 companies, playing an integral role in elevating their brands and helping them succeed in competitive markets.

Over the years, I saw how companies and individuals spent so much time on their company brand and not on their personal brand. It takes just two seconds to make a first impression, and with that, our clothing can truly be our super power. We go through so many stages in our lives and frequently, we don’t stay relevant in how we show up.

Five years ago I took my love of fashion and connected with my branding experience and founded Graceful Impression. A personal styling business aimed at empowering professional women (and now men) . My mission is to boost their confidence and productivity through thoughtfully curated style and branding advice.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The biggest challenge was continuing my full time job while launching this business!

And then, one year after I started my business, Covid hit and no one was getting dressed. Everyone was working from home and a way too casual dress code became the norm.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
Personal Styling is not just for the rich and famous. There is a scientific phenomenon called “Enclothed Cognition” which is all about how what we wear has a direct impact on our brains. This effects our mood, productivity, confidence, and over all success. I guide and help individuals feel their best every day.

Working with individuals, we start with clearing out the mental clutter that fills our closets so that we can feel beautiful from the inside out. From there we can learn our style, and how to build a wardrobe that elevates you to the life you want. With my digital closet service, you can have your closet in the palm of your hands.

A year ago I added my “Confidently Styled” Workshops for companies which has been a huge success. So many companies are struggling with getting their teams to show up on brand. Through individualized coaching sessions focused on companies unique branding, my goal is to help teams achieve their best both in the boardroom and in their personal lives, creating an unquestionable radiance that shines within their work.

What matters most to you?
Helping women feel beautiful and step into their confidence! I struggled with this for so many years and found that clothing could be my super power. What we wear really does matter and when life gets tough I want to be sure my clients show up in a way that makes them feel stronger and able to handle all that comes their way!

And now through my workshops, I love empowering and elevating teams within companies. Watching that aha moment when they see with just a few simple strategies, they can take the stress out of getting dressed and feel fabulous every day!
