Exploring Life & Business with Ryan Ann LettBrown of Natura Bodywork Collective

Today, we’d like to introduce you to Ryan Ann LettBrown.

Ryan Ann LettBrown

Hi Ryan, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today.
I always had this dream of cultivating a space where quality bodywork met with corrective movement because they complement each other so flawlessly!

As a massage therapist for several years, I’ve always looked at the human body as a whole rather than in pieces. The quality of care is just so much better when looked at from all angles. So with that, I decided two years ago that I needed to push it into motion!

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It’s been a beautiful twisty mountain pass!! I wouldn’t change a thing. As with all small businesses that start out, you have to figure out what works best for you and your vision because we’re certainly not all the same. You can’t grow and learn without failures.

Not everyone is going to love what you dream but that’s okay, the world needs your vision so keep going. Find your people who are going to support you and guide you as you learn because there are definitely going to be learning curves ahead.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Natura Bodywork Collective?
Natura Bodywork Collective is a place where people can go to feel their best. We incorporate bodywork- massage therapy with corrective movement. We approach our treatments this way so that we can visualize what each individual’s body is doing so if there is pain or discomfort, we can get a better understanding.

Not all of our sessions are a combination but we like to be able to offer it to those who need to address dysfunction. We are a team of two therapists at the moment and we’re both certified in Neuromuscular Therapy, meaning we’ve had extensive training.

We use this technique alongside Myofascial techniques and cupping therapy to really address what our clients need. We adore what we get to do for a living every day and it shows through our work! It’s a privilege to help walk alongside people when they need help feeling their best!

What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
Patience! It hasn’t ever been something I’ve been great at.

Having patience that things get better, not only from a business standpoint with growth but also having the patience to understand that not every client is going to feel better in a specific timeframe. You just have to have faith and do a lot of breathing.
