Hi Sherri, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?

Like many, l’ve faced my share of life’s challenges- the emotional and physical damage from abuse, chronic pain, financial struggles, and the complexities of single parenthood. These experiences have shaped my deep understanding of how vital it is for everyone to access affordable wellness solutions, from mental, physical or even finding confidence. I believe that healing should not be a luxury reserved for a few, but rather a right accessible to all, regardless of their circumstances.
My journey toward creating a welcoming space for healing began with my own battle against chronic pain and inflammation.
After exploring various holistic methods, I discovered the transformative power of cryotherapy. This fueled my desire to provide effective pain relief and wellness services that are affordable and approachable for everyone in our community.
I opened my wellness center about 8 years ago to offer a range of services, from cryotherapy to body sculpting, all designed to help individuals escape from life’s stresses and find relief and rejuvenation. I’m proud to offer personalized solutions that cater to diverse lifestyles and budgets, ensuring that everyone who walks through my doors feels seen and supported.
I envisioned my center as a safe haven-a place where clients can become friends, sharing their stories and finding solace.
Ultimately, my mission is to empower others to reclaim their health and happiness without resorting to pharmaceuticals or invasive procedures.
Together, we can foster a community of healing and support, making wellness accessible for all.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It’s been pretty smooth, but at times a financial burden when I moved locations and Covid hit. But I was able to survive and keep it a float. Other areas of it not being so smooth is trying to keep prices fair for people to be able to recovery there budget while still trying to keep expenses paid. But I don’t pay for advertising I’m all word of mouth and it has allowed me to thrive and I just received my first place award… which was a surprise out of the blue. I love what I do and all the friends I’ve met.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
My business is known for invasive European Technology at affordable prices. But most of all I run my practice as a honest, caring and competent person, who truly cares about each person who walks thru my door. I will go over and beyond to help with their specific needs. I listen!!! Yeah, I need money to pay the bills, but that’s not my focus, It’s to help people and be known as that person who can read them, and get to know them on a personal level. My saying is “what happens at NuWave, stays at NuWave” 🙂
I specialize in The Body Sculpting and am know for helping people reach there goals. I pride myself on knowing my machine and being able to customize treatments on people, since not all bodies are the same.
My Spa stands out from the rest and I only bring the best to my clients. I also am always looking for the newest and safest machines that provide real results without harming the body.

What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
This next year coming up, I will be expanding as the budget allows. Bringing in traditional services also. I have my daughter who is coming out of a bad marriage and have provided her an opportunity to a new life to build up her self confidence again and getting my old daughter back. I put her thru aesthetician school so now she has graduated as a master aesthetician. So I am hoping to bring in two master aestheticians to provide Hydro facials, micro dermabrasion, eventually permanent makeup, Eyelash Extensions and all of your traditional facials, and eventually hoping to expand even more. I have had a couple people come to me to ask about if I would ever consider franchising so that’s something I’m keeping my options open for. Also I’ve had many clients who drive hours to see me, the longest being eight hours who have asked if I would ever consider opening up in more distant locations also. So who knows what the future holds, but I want to continue bringing services that help people recover and feel better about themselves without living in a world of pain. My dream is to one day have a one stop shop to help every need.
