Today we’d like to introduce you to Siouxsie Przytulski.

Siouxsie Przytulski

Hi Siouxsie, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I was born in Virginia Beach while my father was stationed there with the Navy. Since 1988, I have moved frequently between Europe and the USA, spending most of my adult life in Stuttgart, Germany.

Fitness and nutrition have been lifelong passions for me. Despite the ups and downs on my journey, I always return to health and wellness. It’s a driving force in my life, helping me live my best self.

Professionally, I spent 10 years working with the US Army in Germany, starting as the Child and Youth Services Sports Assistant Director and later becoming a Child Care Center Director. The demands of the director role took a toll on my health. Overwhelmed with accreditation tasks, managing the annual budget, and planning my wedding, I burned out. Striving for perfection, I lost 15 pounds, couldn’t keep food down, and was bedridden or in the bathroom most of the time. Stress-induced symptoms went undiagnosed by doctors until I developed mononucleosis, forcing me to quit work and focus on healing. This journey taught me the importance of balancing work and life, leading to physical, mental, and spiritual healing.

Life has changed significantly since then. I’ve been married to a dedicated Special Forces soldier for 18 years, have two beautiful daughters, and have settled in Colorado after four military moves. My husband has retired from the Army but continues to serve our nation in other capacities. Meanwhile, I balance managing the homefront, raising our daughters, and launching my wellness coaching business.

In 2022, I earned my certification in Health and Life Coaching from the Health Coach Institute and founded Mindful Motivation + Wellness, LLC. My focus is on helping women prevent burnout through holistic health care and support.

I am also a Behavior Change Specialist with the National Academy of Sports Medicine and a Restorative Yoga Instructor at One Body Fitness Studio in downtown Colorado Springs. Additionally, I facilitate The Mom Network of Falcon and Black Forest, organizing weekly events to support women through the challenges of motherhood.

My work centers on the holistic fulfillment of women through mind, body, and spirit, bridging the gap between burnout and self-care.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Absolutely not! I love the reminder that Health is journey, not a destination! That applies to other aspects of life. It’s the ebb and flow right?

Struggles? I’d say my husband’s career choice has been my biggest challenge. It dictates our lives and often requires me to play the role of both parents. I quickly learned that I had to prioritize myself to be there for my kids. The dangers of his job and my constant fear of the worst-case scenario are exhausting and draining.

Another major challenge is teaching women that it’s okay to take care of themselves. Self-care isn’t selfish; it’s essential. Women often put themselves last, and it’s taking a toll. I see it every day, and it’s disheartening. If they just dedicated 10% of their day to self-care, they could be so much healthier and happier.

Marketing! I simply want to support women on their wellness journey, but spreading the word and reaching those in need of my services has been incredibly challenging. I never realized when I was in school that such a significant part of my job would involve ma

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m an empowerment guide, a unique kind of burnout coach for women, helping them navigate from chaos to calm. My vision is for all women to live in a healthy and sustainable way, caring for themselves without feeling overwhelmed, and creating more energy to enjoy life’s small pleasures.

I offer a range of services designed to support overwhelmed women, including private 1:1 coaching, accountability coaching, group coaching, workshops, restorative yoga classes, and wellness retreats.

What am I known for? Burnout prevention! I help women rediscover their sense of self, often lost in the hustle and bustle of daily life. My support is straightforward and doesn’t add to the overwhelm—keeping it simple is key.

Brand-wise, I’m recognized for providing motivation when my clients feel they have little to no energy left. It’s tough to muster the willpower to work on yourself when you’re depleted, and that’s where I come in.

What sets me apart? I tailor each session to meet my clients’ needs, offering realistic and achievable suggestions that don’t add to the daily overwhelm. By breaking changes into smaller, practical steps, I make the journey to beating burnout manageable. I take pride in providing support that isn’t a one-size-fits-all approach.

I focus on four key areas: work/life balance, stress management, goal setting, and nutrition and movement.

What do you like and dislike about the city?
What I love most about Colorado Springs is its unique blend of small-town charm and big-city amenities. We’re a close-knit community, always ready to help and support each other, while still enjoying the conveniences of city life. Plus, being surrounded by nature is fantastic—there’s always a trail within 20 minutes and the mountains are just a short drive away.

What I dislike about Colorado Springs? The rapid growth. It’s not the fault of our residents, but I hope it slows down soon. Thankfully, we’ve managed to maintain our friendly and fun vibe without becoming too overwhelmed.
