Exploring Life & Business with Trent Artichoker of Denver Chiropractic, LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Trent Artichoker.

Hi Trent, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My journey started with having to deal with my own medical issues as a teenager. Frequent doctor visits coupled with crippling headaches and other muscular pains were the start of my journey. I was very active in my adolescence, which led to lots of injuries. Seeking help, the athletic trainer would basically just stick my in an ice tub which wasn’t very effective. I would find myself self massaging my aching muscles and self adjusting my back, which was more effective. I was intuitively being my own best doctor. It was my suffering that led me to where I’m at today.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Over the years I’ve learned that the best journeys come with obstacles. It is the speed bumps, the challenging moments that teach you about yourself. I had no shortage of obstacles. I grew up in a divorced family and primarily lived with my mother and two older brothers. My mother worked hard to provide for my brothers and I, but this also left a void of a home caretaker and an often absent father. I’ve learned that my parents were just doing the best that they could with the hand they were dealt. This also taught me to make the best of what you do have and not be victim, but to be a creator, a manifestor.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
I started Denver Chiro in 2008 when my son was born. I wanted and dreamed of a business that would take care of people as I would want to be taken care of. The problem was that my dreams were bigger than my bank account. I had a shoestring budget and was drowning in $200,000 plus of school loan debt. I purchased my first chiropractic table off of craigslist and reupholster it myself and rented one room in a chiropractic office. My grit was my superpower. Head down and focused i provided the best care I could. I soon realized that the more I acquired tools, the more people I could help. My goal has been to provide options for people that need help.

My clinic focuses on helping people with pain, Whether that is from a car accident, sitting at a desk, a sports injury, or anything else that causes issues with people. We have a multitude of therapies, including; hyperbaric oxygen therapy, red light bed therapy, cold laser therapy, dry needling, pulsed electromagnetic field therapy, physical therapy, chiropractic, massage, acupuncture, shockwave, active release techniques, and more.

I’m proud of the team that delivers these therapies as they have invested their time and expertise to give there best so people can feel their best. We have amassed almost 2000 online reviews across the different platforms and have served almost 30,000 people in the area.

What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
Being a chiropractor in Denver has allowed me to meet a lot of the residents of Denver and I must say the people are nothing short of amazing. Its the people that make Denver unique and special. The people come from all walks of life and contribute in ways that make this one of the best cities to live in. Denver checks a lot of boxes when it comes to being a spectacular city. Unfortunately not all of the cities residents are prospering and I wish that our state and federal social programs were more effective in helping people.
