Hi Yessica , it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My name is Yessica cedan I am originally from Culiacán, Sinaloa, Mexico where I lived and grew up all my life, I entered the world of beauty after studying my university career in sports medicine, I realized that what I was most passionate about was the aesthetic branch to improve the appearance of people with small changes they raised their self-esteem and thanked me. Of course, speaking economically, it was a great business since I lived in a city where surgeries and aesthetic procedures are number one, in my city girls begin to have surgeries at the age of 15 literally. When I was 30 years old I know my husband in California where I got married and moved to the United States, later my husband offered him a job offer to Denver and I decided to follow him to support his dreams. We moved to Denver in August 2022 I wanted to continue with my passion that was the world of beauty but the most important thing prevented me from “the language” a week of arriving I started studying at Emily griffith English where I was almost 7 months, when I defended myself a little with the language I decided to start my aesthetic career again since none of my previous studies were valid in this country, I started my aesthetic career at elite academy where I felt so frustrated not being able to explain my knowledge and participate in class because a More and more my biggest barrier was the language, they were nights of wakefulness, frustration and crying because I had to translate tasks and projects but thank God and the support of my husband, teachers and classmates I went ahead and I was able to finish my aesthetic career last month, which I paid and sustained me working in the living room of my apartment doing facials and eyelash extensions that’s where yoral beauty center arises in the living room of my house which helped me to pay for my studies, and to be able to save to rent a salon. I also thank Rosy Contreras spa who contacted me to give me a job in her business when I was studying. When you have a passion, there are no limits, you set your goal and little by little you achieve it. Today I am organizing nationally endorsed certifications in Spanish, technical certifications that can help people who do not speak the language but want to improve themselves. This August 31 for the first time in Denver I will bring the certification of technician in phlebotomy in Spanish. I hope first God will be able to bring many more and open an aesthetic academy in Spanish to help all those girls who have that dream of studying something but the language stops them.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely hasn’t been a quiet road, my biggest barrier was the language and that i did’t have any close relatives living in this country

Yoral beauty center is a company that is dedicated to beauty, we carry out facial treatments, non-invasive cosmetics, acne treatments, spots, anti-age, lip filler among other things, I am proud that I have a company that has grown quickly emaciated thanks to my patients and the results they get. I am proud of my brand that starts from scratch in the living room of my house and without any financial resources.

How do you define success?
For me, success is achieving what you are passionate about, it fills you with life, what you have always dreamed of and no obstacle stopped you to achieve it. It is the satisfaction of oneself to be an example to follow. It’s knowing that your life is complete in every way.
