Hidden Gems: Meet Anissa Faus of Love Wins Collective ®

Today we’d like to introduce you to Anissa Faus.

Hi Anissa, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
For years, I worked alongside high-performing leaders in rooms where pressure is constant and the stakes are high – capable, values-driven people pushing through at all costs.

I was one of them.

My career was built on performance, endurance, and exceeding every KPI that mattered… until a season of profound loss forced me to question everything I believed about leadership, success, and sustainability.

That season stripped leadership down to its essence.

It revealed that real leadership isn’t about pushing harder – it’s about how you show up when the ground begins to move. About presence. Purpose. And love.

That way of leading is how I live and lead.

Alongside my leadership work, I actively train, teach, and lead in the dojo as a 3rd-degree black belt and instructor with over 12 years of experience. Martial arts continues to shape how I move through pressure, change, and growth – personally and professionally.

It reinforces that alignment comes before force.
That precision matters more than power.
And that when conditions shift, leadership requires presence and adaptability.

There are no clean breaks – in boards, in business, or in life.

Love Wins Collective® was born from that season of hardship. Through Love Wins Leadership™, I partner with heart-centered, people-first leaders navigating pressure, adversity, and change.

Together, we build resilient leaders and regenerative cultures that are grounded, intentional, and built to last.

This is leadership that is present, purposeful, poised, and powerful.

I am also the creator of The MOJO Method®, a transformational leadership framework blending emotional intelligence with change management – helping leaders reclaim their energy, realign their rhythm, and lead from a place that is soul-lit.

At its core, my work is transformational.

Where Love Leads, Legacy Follows™

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No. It hasn’t been smooth, and I don’t believe it was meant to be.

The road has included pressure, adversity, and seasons where everything familiar fell away. I’ve navigated grief while leading, built a company while rebuilding my own capacity, and learned how to hold vision when the ground beneath me was shifting.

One of the greatest challenges was unlearning the belief that leadership requires constant pushing.

I had to confront how deeply hustle culture shaped my instincts, even as I was being called to lead differently. There is a time and place for hustle – but your culture is not it. Burnout is not a strategy, and endurance alone does not build resilient leaders or regenerative cultures.

My martial arts practice reinforced this truth early on.

You can’t muscle your way through a moving target. When the ground shifts, strength alone won’t carry you forward – presence, adaptability, and commitment will.

Building something truly values-driven required slowing down in a world that rewards speed, choosing alignment over pressure, and leading with heart in systems that don’t always make space for it.

Adversity doesn’t disqualify us from leadership – it deepens it.

That lesson came full circle recently when my teenage son wrote his college essay. His theme was simple and powerful: Pressure is my privilege. Every struggle strengthens my resolve and conviction.

Even in the hardest seasons, gratitude became the practice that grounded me.

Gratitude is the Antidote™

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
Love Wins Collective® is a multi-divisional leadership ecosystem grounded in a simple belief: leadership can be both powerful and human.

As the Founder of Love Wins Collective® and a Fractional Chief People Officer, I partner with executives and leadership teams navigating pressure, complexity, and transformation. The work is not about performance alone, but about scaling trust, energy, and clarity so growth doesn’t come at the cost of humanity.

I’ve learned that high performance breaks down when leaders try to scale tactics without scaling those foundations. My role is to help leaders close those gaps and build cultures that actually convert, perform, and last.

My approach blends behavioral science, embodied leadership, and real-world experience. It’s influenced by martial arts principles – alignment before force, clarity before action, and disciplined practice over quick fixes. Leadership, like training, requires staying centered when the target moves.

Through The MOJO Method®, leaders build the systems, rhythms, and clarity needed to lead with confidence while honoring their energy, values, and people. This work is grounded in the Love Wins Leadership™ framework and supports regenerative leadership – leadership that restores energy, trust, and capacity while driving meaningful results.

What I’m most proud of is the rhythm and clarity of my leadership work today.

Over the past year, Love Wins Collective® has evolved into a multi-division ecosystem spanning executive coaching, Fractional Chief People Officer work, a nonprofit supporting families navigating loss, and purpose-driven initiatives that extend the Love Wins ethos beyond the workplace.

That growth has come through relationships, resonance, and integrity rather than hustle. While hustle has its place, culture is built differently.

Leadership should leave you soul-filled, not soul-tired.

Above All, Love Wins™

What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
As AI accelerates efficiency and scale, the differentiator will be presence, discernment, and humanity. The leaders who thrive will be those who can stay grounded when conditions change and respond with clarity rather than reactivity.

High performance breaks down when organizations try to scale tactics without scaling trust, alignment, and energy. Hustle burns out. Clarity scales. And in an era of constant acceleration, clarity becomes a competitive advantage.

Much like martial arts, the future of leadership will reward those who can adapt to moving targets, trust their training, and act with intention under pressure.

That said, this shift won’t happen automatically. Hustle culture is deeply embedded. Burnout has been normalized. Many teams are navigating change fatigue while being asked to transform yet again.

Resilient leaders and regenerative cultures will not become the standard without awareness and intentional redesign. It requires redefining performance beyond output and recognizing that high-trust cultures drive sustainable results.

AI can optimize systems.
It cannot replace wisdom, connection, or love.

In the future of leadership, alignment, clarity, and energy will drive the cultures that endure.

Authenticity is the Ultimate Flex™
