Hi Ariel, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Through my own personal journey with complicated skin issues, I fell in love with the art of Aesthetic Medicine. My goal and purpose is to change the lives of others by providing services that not only change the way you look, but create an inner self confidence that matches the way you feel. I wanted to create a space where all my favorite Aesthetic treatments were under one roof. In this industry we are constantly flooded with different aesthetic treatments, and in my opinion a lot of them are really expensive and don’t provide substantial results. There is no worse of a feeling than spending a lot of money, being over promised and under delivered. I wanted to take the guesswork out of the equation. I’ve narrowed down the best treatments on the market for anti aging and personal wellness. I only wanted to offer what “truly works”. I’m passionate about holistic beauty & skincare, every time I get the opportunity to educate my clients it is so empowering. I feel honored to have established my practice in the heart of Denver Colorado at McGregor Square. Kalon, a Greek word that means “Beauty is More than skin deep” felt like the perfect fit for my practice. Kalon Laser Aesthetics was born. We specialize in Laser Hair Removal, serving men, woman and the transgender community. I want everyone to feel welcome and safe, no one should feel uncomfortable in their own skin. We offer all the latest trends in anti-aging services, with a holistic approach. Kalon is the culmination of my entire career in Aesthetic Medicine. I started my career as a Lash Artist, and now my certifications range from aesthetic injector to laser technician. In my heart, I live to make people feel beautiful. There is an art to aesthetics that is crucial. It’s not just a service, it is an experience. From start to finish, the meticulous detail that is curated for each individual is my main focus.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Absolutely not. With starting any small business be prepared to constantly dodge curve balls, get hit in the face and keep going. There’s a quote that I would love to share, “you wanna practice trusting god? Become an entrepreneur.”
The best way to learn how to run a business, is to start one. If you have an intuition that you can create or build something, you can do it. If you believe in yourself, and know in your heart this is the plan that was meant for you, go for it. Don’t let anyone tell you “No” that doesn’t have the power to say yes. The people closest to you, will tear you down and say you can’t do it. You might loose friends, but keep going anyway. Continue to believe in your dream even when all the odds are against you. When you’re sitting there in tears, ready to give up- keep believing. I promise your angels will show up for you in ways that you never thought possible. You will get that sale to make the rent, you will meet people that align you with the right opportunity, just don’t give up. There is the business side, and then your skill set. They both will require different versions of yourself and this was my greatest teaching moment.
