Hi Athena, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I’m an East Coast native who moved to Colorado in 2009 and never looked back. I fell in love with the accessibility of outdoor adventures, world-renowned music venues, and the energy of an evolving state. I graduated from the University of Colorado, started a photography business, and then pivoted my career after the pandemic.

After lots of research into a new career path, I stumbled upon loan origination. It takes skills that are both analytical and creative, which was a perfect match for me. I put my entire heart and soul into growing my business and over the last 2.5 years, Luna Lending has become known as a trusted local mortgage broker helping people achieve their dream of homeownership.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Growing a business is tough on its own but trying to be successful in arguably one of the hardest mortgage markets in over 15 years, was very challenging. I had to push myself way outside my comfort zone and learn to adapt to an everchanging market that was making it harder for home buyers to purchase, all while making sure I was always meeting my goal of providing an exceptional client-first experience.

I can confidently say that the challenges I faced, made me a better loan originator, and spurred positive personal growth I couldn’t have imagined. It was all worth it and still continues to be!

Luna Lending is a tight-knit group of individuals who work incredibly hard to help clients achieve home ownership, whether it’s their first, second, or tenth home. Our company culture is based on our motto “Luna Love”. We put clients first and provide options that suit their specific goals.

Being a broker means we offer lower rates and more loan options, so we can get more people qualified for their home purchase. I’m proud to be a part of Luna Lending, and love helping make people’s dreams come true!
