Hidden Gems: Meet Beth Ginsberg of Sadyta dba Trompeau Bakery and Cafe

Today we’d like to introduce you to Beth Ginsberg

Hi Beth, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
It’s been a very interesting journey to get to where I am today. I startedmy professional career in Massachusetts as a Mechanical Engineer at HP for many years. I worked in manufacturing at HP and always loved to design and implement production processes. While in Massachusetts, I dabbled in entrepreneurship also. After HP, we moved to Singapore for over 7 years. In Singapore, I started my own company designing and implementing the production process for fresh baked bagels. Thus my jouney into food and manufacturing began. I was owner operator of that company for 4 years and grew it to be a regional player in the wholesale bagel market with Starbucks being one of our customers when I sold the company and left to return to the US.
Upon return, I settled in Denver with my three young children and continued my career in food and beverage. I bought and sold several companies over the next 13 years when I came upon Trompeau Bakery on S. Broadway which I bought in Oct 2019. This was a wholesale and retail business which was what I was looking for. Not great timing with Covid right around the corner but it worked out great and we thrived during Covid and came out after the pandemic stronger than ever.
In February, 2024, we expanded our brand with another retail cafe downtown in the 16th St Mall. We now have two locations and are planning for more growth as well.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has been overall a smooth road. The struggles are day to day with equipment breaking, staff leaving and training new people, etc. Nothing that is out of the ordinary for many business owners. Lately, however, inflation and consumer buying patterns have effected us as it has most businesses these days.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Sadyta dba Trompeau Bakery and Cafe?
We are a scratch baked authentic world cuisine kitchen specializing in over 30 different kinds of croissants, both sweet and savory. We take pride in our quality and use over $11k of butter each month. Besides croissants, we have a full coffee bar, sandwiches, quiche, salads,, parfaits, cakes, cookies, tea breads and a collaboration with Bonnie Brae for our delicious chocolate almond croissant ice cream!
I am most proud of our quality in both our products and our staff. We have a high quality in both and I am so proud of what we put our to our customers and the people who work at Trompeau, both locations.
I want your readers to know that our company is more than just a bakery. We are a gathering place and a destination to purchase and enjoy high quality food with ingredients that I am happy to feed my own family and friends. We love what we do at Trompeau and labor every day to make our customers so happy that they spread the word and come back over and over again. Word of mouth is the best advertising we could ask for!

Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
Your questions were very thorough and I can’t think of anything else. Feel free to reach out to me if you have more questions. thank you!
