Today, we’d like to introduce you to Cezary Grosfeld.
Hi Cezary, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
Get your selfie stick ready and meet the captain of this crazy ship, hahaha!
I’m Cezary. I came from Poland in 2005 to settle down in the sunny state of Colorado. But something was missing – pierogi! That’s right, I couldn’t find any good Polish cuisine around here. So, I decided to take matters into my own hands and spread the pierogi love. Fast forward 19 years, and my pierogi is now a staple in most European-themed restaurants in the state. Polish cuisine? More like Pierogies Factory cuisine!
In 2010, I set out on a pierogi adventure at the farmers’ market and supplied local businesses with my delicious creations. Fast forward to 2014, and I launched my first food truck, paving the way for rapid expansion. By 2015, our first brick-and-mortar store was born, solidifying our commitment to pierogi perfection.
In 2016, I took my passion nationwide with online sales, reaching pierogi lovers far and wide. Then, in 2019, a game-changing partnership formed as Jamie Boone, a seasoned Coca-Cola veteran of 23 years, joined forces with us.
Navigating the challenges of the pandemic was tough, but we emerged stronger. Today, we boast two thriving food trucks, two bustling restaurants, and ambitious plans for the future. From humble beginnings to nationwide acclaim, our pierogi empire continues to grow, fueled by dedication, innovation, and much love for our beloved dumplings!
If you haven’t tried Polish food yet, don’t be scared – it’s not as intimidating as it sounds. Our Google review ratings speak for themselves, with an almost perfect 5-star score from over 1700 satisfied customers.
So, come on down and give us a try! “Support local businesses like mine, and your taste buds will thank you.”
We all face challenges, but would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Not exactly. I quickly realized that Colorado wasn’t the Midwest, where pierogies are practically a household staple. Here, it’s more of a burrito state! Even after 14 years, educating folks about pierogies and Polish cuisine remains a constant effort.
Thanks – so, what else should our readers know about Pierogies Factory?
As a proud Pole living in Colorado for 19 years, sharing my culture, food, and traditions brings me immense joy.
In a state with few Polish businesses, I’m honored to represent my heritage. To those who’ve never tasted Polish cuisine, I urge you to take a chance on us. And if it’s not your cup of tea, let’s just say you don’t go to dealerships to buy a car, haha.
Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting?
I often think back and wish social media was as advanced when I started my business as it is now.
But regardless of the era, one thing remains true: nobody will care about your business as much as you do. In the beginning, don’t rush to hire a marketing agency. Be your marketing guru and champion your brand with passion and authenticity.
I highly recommend “Company of One” by Paul Jarvis as essential reading for anyone looking to start a business. It’s a game-changer.
