Hidden Gems: Meet Dave Kiser & Vince DeLeon of Mountain Harmony Energy Arts

Today we’d like to introduce you to Dave Kiser & Vince DeLeon.

Hi Dave Kiser &, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
We’ve always been drawn to the idea of doing energy work but we didn’t know what that would look like and we didn’t have any ideas of where or how to begin. We’ve always been surrounded by others who did some form of energy work, (reiki, chakra balancing, sound healing, shamanic workings, energy exchange, etc.) so those are the people we started looking up to and who really had an impact on our practice. They were the ones that we drew inspiration from. We also really started looking into other practitioners and the spiritual significance behind what they were doing. When we started practicing doing energy work, it was on each other in our home. We came up with ideas for what we wanted to do that would set us apart from other energy workers because we really wanted to offer something that would be truly unique and different. At the time, we had no space to work from other than our home so we decided to transform our living room into an energy studio. We bought our first massage table and then started inviting friends and family to come over for free sessions. This allowed us to get more practice in on other people so we could hone our skills but it also provided an opportunity for people to give us honest feedback on the session. Working out of our home lasted several months until a chance encounter with the owner of the company Vince works for. From that meeting, we were able to work out a deal where we could rent a real studio space that would eventually become Mountain Harmony Energy Arts.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No, it has not been a smooth road. Getting started by working out of our home came with risks. Not that we were in any kind of physical danger from the people we were practicing on but rather, from the energy people may be bringing with them into our living space. We had to take a lot of steps and precautions to protect not just ourselves but our pets and place where we live because we didn’t want to take on or allow any residual energy to stick around. We were also challenged with trying to open an energy arts studio while working our “muggle” day jobs. While we would love to be doing energy work full time, the reality is that it doesn’t pay all the bills…at least not yet! And trying to find regular clients has also been a bit daunting. Neither of us have any kind of marketing background or know the best ways to promote what we do so we’ve just kinda been learning as we go along.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Mountain Harmony Energy Arts?
Honestly, what we do is all about helping people find balance, peace, and connection. Not just within themselves but within the community as well. We combine sound healing, Reiki, and energy work to create really transformative experiences that restore harmony on every level: mind, body, and spirit.

One of the things we’re most known for are our monthly all-inclusive sound baths. We bring everything, (mats, pillows, blankets, eye masks) so people can just show up and relax. The sound experience is truly immersive, with crystal and brass singing bowls, chimes, drums, rattles, rain sticks, and even a large standing singing bowl that’s unlike anything you’ve ever felt before. It truly is an immersive experience.

We also offer Angel Light Reiki, Shamanic Reiki, energy cleanses, and chakra balancing, with mini or full individual sessions available and we even offer couples sessions. And what really sets us apart is that most of our clients receive healing from both of us working together in unison. It’s like getting two healers in one session, and that balance of energy makes the experience incredibly unique and powerful.

And because building community is such a big part of our mission, we’re also starting a spiritual social group that will meet on the second Friday of every month at 7 p.m. It’s free and open to the public, and it’s a space for anyone walking a spiritual path to connect, share, and grow with like-minded souls.

We’re really proud of the space we’ve created. It’s welcoming, restorative, and deeply heart-centered. Whether it’s through sound, energy, or community, our goal is simple: to help people reconnect with their own light.

Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
Oh, that’s tough. For me (Dave), things were pretty rough growing up at home. But It was always better anytime I got to go to my grandparents. They really were the ones who were able to provide the love and support that was unfortunately lacking at home. I always did love going camping and water skiing with them so those memories would probably be my favorite.

For me (Vince) my best memories were with my siblings. We always had so much fun together and we always found ourselves getting into some crazy situations. Now that we’re all older, we don’t see each other as much so I miss those times when we just didn’t have any cares in the world.
