Hi Jaida, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
My journey to matchmaking began in 2013 when a dear friend suggested I consider matchmaking as a career. At that time, I was matching friends and giving them advice about managing their dating lives. When an opportunity arose for a position with a large firm, I took a leap, left an executive role in education, and pursued my dreams. Having experienced the heartbreak of divorce, I found myself easily relating to many of my clients.
After working with one of the largest matchmaking organizations in the country, I moved on to smaller, more boutique firms. Eventually, I became certified as a matchmaker and decided to start my own company. I currently represent men and women across the United States who are on their path to finding love.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
As a small business owner, navigating the ins and outs of building a successful brand has been challenging. When working for other matchmaking companies, I had no idea what to expect or what it takes to grow your business.
Now, as an entrepreneur and CEO, I have learned exactly what it takes with the assistance and guidance of colleagues, as well as the support of my family cheering me on along the way. I love being my own boss, making my own schedule, focusing on the overall client experience, and making sure I do my best to make love happen for the people I represent.
We’ve been impressed with Flirting With Forever, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
“Flirting with Forever” is a boutique matchmaking firm that specializes in curating beautiful and meaningful connections. As a certified matchmaker, I work with individuals who are selective, value their confidentiality, and appreciate the guidance of a professional to assist them along the way.
Through my matchmaking and date coaching programs, I provide insight on shifting your mindset and changing the narrative around dating to help clients successfully date their way into their desired relationship.
Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
Born and raised in Colorado, I have a continued attitude of gratitude that I’m able to help singles from my home state and across the country strengthen their techniques in forming loving relationships and develop new approaches to dating.
It is truly rewarding being a gladiator for love, witnessing many happy couples, successful marriages, and incredible friendships formed along the way.
