My journey in interior design began over 17 years ago when I embarked on the renovation of my very first house, a 60+-year-old fixer-upper. Fueled by a passion for transforming spaces, I poured my heart and soul into every detail, from choosing paint colors to restoring vintage features. It was during this time that I realized my true calling was in interior design.

Despite initially pursuing a degree in science, I found myself drawn to the artistry and creativity of interior design, leading me to switch gears and pursue my passion wholeheartedly. Armed with a newfound dedication, I earned my degree in interior design, eager to merge my scientific background with my love for aesthetics and functionality.

Today, as an experienced interior designer, I approach each project with a holistic perspective, prioritizing not only the visual appeal but also the functionality and wellness of my clients’ spaces. Whether it’s creating an inviting living room layout that promotes relaxation or designing a kitchen that maximizes efficiency, I strive to tailor each design to enhance my clients’ lives.

My commitment and passion for interior design have led to exciting opportunities, including the privilege of decorating the White House for the 2023 holiday season, an experience I won’t soon forget. As I continue on this journey, I am dedicated to transforming spaces with purpose, and beauty, ensuring they promote functionality and contribute to happy, fulfilling living.

My journey in interior design has been a rewarding yet challenging one. While there have been moments of triumph and satisfaction, it hasn’t always been a smooth road. Transitioning into the field of interior design required adaptation and perseverance, particularly in building a clientele and establishing credibility within the industry.

Balancing creativity with practicality in design, overcoming design obstacles, and staying current with industry trends and technology have all presented their own set of challenges. However, each obstacle has been an opportunity for growth and learning, ultimately making me a stronger and more resilient designer equipped to tackle any future challenges that may arise.
