Hidden Gems: Meet Johnathon Craig of SIX7ONE8 LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Johnathon Craig.

Hi Johnathon , we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started SIX7ONE8, LLC with a vision rooted in both structure and compassion. My background is in building systems for regulated industries, so I’ve always been drawn to the intersection of compliance and care — where doing things right meets doing things with heart.

The idea for our respite division came from a deep desire to serve families in a way that felt trustworthy, warm, and professionally sound. I saw a gap in how services were delivered — too often, agencies lacked clarity, consistency, or emotional resonance. So I built a model that’s community-based, non-facility, and deeply intentional. We go to clients’ homes and meet them where they are, both physically and emotionally.

Getting here wasn’t just about launching a business — it was about designing every layer with audit-readiness, visual clarity, and ethical leadership. I created visual frameworks, structured our staff hierarchy, and drafted policies that don’t just meet standards — they elevate them. Every document, every color choice, every checklist reflects our commitment to quality and care.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Not at all — and I wouldn’t want it to be. The road has been anything but smooth, but every challenge has shaped the clarity and integrity of what I’m building.

One of the biggest hurdles was navigating two complex regulatory systems at once — COHFI for the Class B license and HCPF for the PASA application. Each has its own language, timelines, and expectations, and I had to become fluent in both while also building the operational backbone of the agency from scratch.

Another challenge was balancing compliance with compassion. I didn’t want to just meet the minimum standards — I wanted to create a brand and a service model that felt warm, trustworthy, and deeply human. That meant spending extra time refining policies, designing visual frameworks, and choosing brand colors that evoke care, not just professionalism.

There were moments of overwhelm — especially when formatting massive document packets or preparing for audit-level scrutiny. But I leaned into structure. I created checklists, visual trackers, and systems that turned chaos into clarity. That’s how I lead — with intention, transparency, and a deep respect for the people we serve.

So no, it hasn’t been smooth. But it’s been meaningful. And I’m proud of every step.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
SIX7ONE8 LLC is a multi-division agency built on clarity, compassion, and compliance. Our respite care division specializes in non-facility, community-based services — we meet clients in their homes and in the environments where they live, connect, and thrive. We provide personal care, homemaker support, and respite services with a focus on dignity, trust, and emotional wellbeing.

What sets us apart is our structure. We don’t just deliver care — we design it. Every policy, every role, every visual framework is crafted with audit-readiness and operational clarity in mind. We’re known for our polished documentation, our ethical leadership, and our ability to turn complex regulatory requirements into streamlined, human-centered systems.

Brand-wise, I’m most proud of how our visual identity reflects our values. We’ve chosen a palette of muted golds and nurturing blues and greens — colors that evoke warmth, safety, and professionalism. Our branding isn’t just aesthetic; it’s emotional architecture. It tells families, “You’re safe here. We see you.”

For readers, I want them to know that SIX7ONE8 isn’t just a business — it’s a promise. A promise to deliver care that’s structured, sincere, and scalable. We’re building something that lasts — not just in compliance, but in impact.
