Today we’d like to introduce you to Juliet Rose.
Hi Juliet, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I’ve always had a deep respect and curiosity for the special bond between people and their dogs. Early in my career, I worked primarily in marketing and client relations, but on the side I began volunteering at local shelters, rehabbing and fostering dogs in Massachusetts, and I quickly noticed a real gap in high-quality, ethical, and effective training for dogs with serious behavioral challenges. That experience lit a spark. Seeing dogs who had been written off finally receive the leadership, structure, and fulfillment they needed and watching them thrive was incredibly rewarding.
In 2018, I launched the second location of Loyal Hound Inc. here in Denver, while continuing to operate location #1 in Massachusetts as well. My goal was simple but ambitious: to create a program where even the most reactive or aggressive dogs could succeed in real-world environments. What began with private sessions in parks and clients’ homes soon grew into a full board-and-train program. Today, in Colorado, we focus on customized one-on-one training packages and apprenticeship opportunities for aspiring trainers. Along the way, we have built a reputation for results, transparency, and for educating owners just as much as dogs.
Today, Loyal Hound is one of Denver’s top-rated training companies, specializing in aggression rehabilitation and advanced obedience, while also mentoring the next generation of trainers through our renowned Shadow Program. My background in marketing and sales has been invaluable in scaling the business and ensuring our message reaches the people who need us most. At its heart, Loyal Hound remains true to its original mission: helping dogs and their humans build calmer, safer, and happier lives together.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Navigating the economic times has been a challenge for sure! Being an entrepreneur, I have actually enjoyed the adaptation, thoughtfulness, drive, and creativity required to thrive! We have pivoted when and where necessary from a branding and marketing standpoint to reach the right clients.
We’ve been impressed with Loyal Hound Off Leash & Aggressive Dog Training , but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?

What matters most to you? Why?
It is important to me that clients don’t just learn about their dogs, but also how to communicate and advocate better for themselves as they navigate life and relationships; this allows us all to show up better and more authentically!
