Hidden Gems: Meet Kylie Faildo of Jeen Pelvic Floor Therapy

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kylie Faildo.

Hi Kylie, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My path to founding Jeen really grew out of two things: a love for movement and a frustration with the gaps I saw in women’s health care. I started out as a physical therapist working across a wide range of patients, but over and over I saw women being told that things like leaking, pain, or pelvic heaviness were “just normal.” It never sat right with me.

I dove deeper into pelvic health and quickly realized it was where I was meant to be. As I worked with more women, I saw how life-changing it was when someone finally validated their symptoms and gave them the tools to heal. That’s what inspired me to launch Jeen: a space where women feel supported, heard, and empowered in every stage of life, whether they’re preparing for birth, recovering postpartum, or navigating menopause.

Starting Jeen was equal parts exciting and terrifying. It meant stepping out of the traditional health care system and creating something from scratch. But the decision has allowed me to provide care on my own terms: one-on-one sessions, evidence-based treatment, and time to actually listen. My hope is always that women walk away not only with their symptoms resolved, but also more confident in their bodies.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Starting Jeen meant stepping away from the safety net of traditional health care and figuring out how to build a business from the ground up, something physical therapy school doesn’t exactly prepare you for. There were moments of doubt, financial uncertainty, and plenty of “what am I doing?” conversations with myself.

One of the biggest struggles was balancing the many hats I suddenly had to wear: clinician, marketer, bookkeeper, and content creator. I had to learn how to reach patients directly, explain what pelvic floor therapy actually is, and educate a community that often had never heard of this kind of care before. That’s both a challenge and a motivator.

On top of that, life didn’t exactly slow down. I opened Jeen during my first trimester of pregnancy, which is probably the worst time to start a business! I just delivered my twin girls on 7/26/25. Experiencing pregnancy, birth, and postpartum firsthand while running a business has been a crash course in walking the same path as my patients. It’s exhausting at times, but it’s also given me an even deeper empathy and perspective that I bring into my work every day.

We’ve been impressed with Jeen Pelvic Floor Therapy, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Jeen is a pelvic floor physical therapy practice that helps women through every stage of life- pregnancy, postpartum, menopause, and beyond. I treat concerns like incontinence, pelvic pain, prolapse, and core weakness, but my focus is on giving women the tools and confidence to feel at home in their bodies again.

What sets Jeen apart is the approach. I’m able to spend more time one-on-one with each patient and create treatment plans without the limitations of insurance. Sessions are personalized, practical, and always evidence-based.

I’m most proud of the community Jeen is building. It’s not just a clinic, it’s a space where women feel heard and validated. Through social media, workshops, and collaborations, we’re spreading the message that pelvic floor issues are common, but not normal, and they are absolutely treatable.

We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
It’s all about impact. If a woman walks out of Jeen feeling stronger, more confident, and finally heard after being dismissed elsewhere, that’s success.
