Today we’d like to introduce you to MaDonna Collingwood.
Hi MaDonna, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
I explore how our environment impacts our physical, and mental health and well-being. I offer accelerated programs in physical training, nutrition planning, and accountability coaching. I help individuals who are pursuing a lifestyle change while still working to keep daily expenses low and monthly installment costs at an income-based level.
I obtained my master’s degree from Colorado State University in Health and Human Sciences, and I follow the WELL Building standard from IWBI which is an accredited organization that’s accompanied by LEED, Leadership, and Environmental and Energy Design when I am training and coaching clients.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
My passion in this industry is helping others get to where I am, in the most efficient way. I built this program based on the idea of “If I could go back, knowing what I know now, how would I do things differently? I’m sure there are smaller, a few like DIY things that you can change in your lifestyle, but if we’re talking about really creating a design from core to shell, there’s so much that goes into it that the average person just would not be able to think of or understand.
I have used my own personal career and health/lifestyle journey to create a more efficient and tailored plan for women who are now looking for a change. Instead of spending years and years doing smaller inconsistent workouts, I have created an accelerated path for Women who are self-starters and want to fast-track their way to their end goal.
We’ve been impressed with MaDonnaCollingwood.com, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I have been helping women who are in a place where they know they want to change but aren’t quite sure how to get there. I have helped women set goals for the direction they want to go and helped them every step of the way using accountability coaching techniques to achieve their dreams.
I create a personally tailored plan to meet each client’s goals professionally, financially, physically, and mentally. Overall lifestyle coaching involves aspects including:
-Self-Presentation & Appearance
-Mental Health Regulation Techniques
-Spiritual Development
-Financial Freedom Planning Through Budgeting and Estimation Techniques
-Lifestyle and Nutrition Planning and Coaching
-Motivational Coaching and Planning
-Physical Coaching Course
Clients typically train with me at one of my two gym locations. I have an outdoor and indoor gym and schedules will be planned in advance. Clients meet with me at the same scheduled time about 1-3x per week depending on their overall goal.
Clients also have the option to meet with me at the SID classroom campus once per week to do nutrition studies and planning, as well as goal-setting and health information lectures (at no added cost). Whether your goals are to lose weight, gain weight, lose fat, build muscle, or maintain your current physique I will tailor a plan to fit your needs.
What do you like and dislike about the city?
I love everything about Denver. I love that we have beautiful white snow on the mountains in the Springtime while simultaneously being able to enjoy 70-degree weather and sunshine.
I love the opportunities we have in the city to switch and build new careers. I also love the enormous amount of opportunity to lead an active and healthy lifestyle. I am actively building a community in Denver that focuses on career expansion and growth as well as holistic health and well-being.
