Mark, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Golf has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I played in high school, in college, and even spent five years competing professionally from ’99 to ’04. My wife, Jennifer, actually didn’t start playing golf until a couple of years ago, but once she got into it, we were playing almost every weekend. That’s when the idea for Golf Haus started to take shape. We wanted to create a place where anyone could experience golf in a fun, welcoming environment, no matter their skill level. For me, it’s also about sharing my passion for the game and helping others learn and improve.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
We’ve been very fortunate to meet some incredible people on this journey, and their support has made all the difference. Like any new business, we’ve faced our share of challenges, from navigating startup logistics to building awareness, but we’ve learned so much along the way. With the help of a lot of great people, we’ve kept pushing forward and growing.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
My wife, Jennifer, and I opened Golf Haus in December 2024 with a simple goal: to create a fun, welcoming space where anyone can enjoy golf, whether you’ve played your whole life or never held a club. We’ve built a relaxed, community-focused environment with five state-of-the-art simulators, a full bar, and an open-to-everyone model, no membership required.

What really sets us apart is the range of experiences we offer. Golf Haus is just as much an event space as it is a golf space. We host everything from corporate outings, off-site trainings, and product launches to birthday celebrations, bachelor parties, and team-building events. If you can dream it, we can make it happen! Curating memorable, personalized events for groups of all sizes has become one of the things we’re most proud of.

We’re also known for blending golf with entertainment. With seven TVs throughout the space, guests can always catch the big game while enjoying great food, drinks, and, of course, plenty of swings. Also, for anyone looking to improve or learn the game, we offer instruction for all skill levels.

At its core, Golf Haus is about making golf accessible, social, and genuinely fun. That’s the heart of our brand and what we hope every guest experiences when they walk through our doors.

Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
We’re still pretty new at this ourselves! The biggest thing we’ve learned so far is to stay flexible, keep learning, and surround yourself with good people. Every challenge is a chance to grow, and the journey is a lot more fun when you enjoy the process.
