Hidden Gems: Meet Megan Albert of Eby’s Holistic Healing Center

Today we’d like to introduce you to Megan Albert.

Hi Megan, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My Story:
My journey into energy medicine began in 2001. I quietly practiced with friends and family for years while pursuing a career in property management. After experiencing a panic attack at work, a doctor asked me, “What are you going to do, quit your job?” — and I realized, yes, I needed to!
I left property management behind and dedicated myself fully to healing work.

While earning my nutrition degree, I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s, which opened up a deeper understanding of autoimmune conditions and expanded my passion for holistic nutrition. Working for Garden of Life and alongside a functional doctor gave me the tools to heal myself naturally — and fueled my desire to help others do the same.

Combining energy work, nutrition, and plant medicine felt like a natural evolution. The plants found me — and with them, a deeper calling.
I guess you could call me a “Green Witch!” (lol)
Over the years, I’ve completed extensive training in various healing modalities:
Healing Touch Program: Levels 1–4
Reiki: Levels 1 & 2
Anatomy for Healers: Levels 1 & 2
Back Chakra Activation
Introductory Cranial Sacral Therapy
Energetic Awareness and Personal Energy Boundaries
Rain Drop Technique
Abdominal Therapy Technique
La Tallada Maya & Tipte: Maya Medicine for Women’s Health
Rooted Medicine Circle: Herbal Medicine
Artemisia & Rue: Women’s Herbal & Ethnobotanical Studies Programs

In 2013, I founded Eby’s Holistic Healing Center in Centennial, Colorado. My practice is a sanctuary where I work one-on-one with women to help them reconnect with their mind, body, and spirit. I offer services such as Healing Touch energy therapy, herbal and nutritional support, and abdominal or Maya therapy. Each session is personalized to address the unique needs of my clients.

I also volunteer with LifeSpark Cancer Resources, providing Healing Touch therapy to cancer patients since 2017. Additionally, I support veterans by offering specialized healing sessions tailored to their needs.

While I currently facilitate retreats focused on women’s empowerment and holistic wellness, (I aspire to host my own retreats in the future. In the works as of now!) These gatherings provide a deeper healing experience and foster a sense of community among participants.

My motivation comes from witnessing the transformations in my clients. Seeing someone release trauma and embrace healing is profoundly rewarding. Over the years, I’ve worked with over 1,000 clients, and each journey reinforces my dedication to this path.

Thank you for allowing me to share my story.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Challenges and Opportunities:
Always ups and downs! Mainly with the business aspects. I’ve taken many business courses and worked with mentors to educate me a help me grow.
One of my biggest challenges has been marketing. I maintain a strong presence on social media, but word of mouth remains my most powerful tool (and sometimes Google helps too!). I run two Facebook groups: one where I share health information, classes, and workshops, and another networking group where practitioners connect, collaborate, and refer clients. I also participate in local networking events and deeply believe that when practitioners support each other, we all grow stronger.

I’m proud of what I’ve built over the past decade, and even more proud of the community and healing that continues to grow from it.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I offer a sanctuary where women can reconnect with their mind, body, and spirit. My practice is rooted in a holistic approach that combines various modalities to support overall well-being.

Services and Specializations:

Healing Touch Energy Therapy: A gentle, non-invasive modality that promotes relaxation and supports the body’s natural healing processes.

Abdominal Therapy: Techniques aimed at improving digestion, relieving tension, and supporting reproductive health.

Holistic Nutrition and Herbal Support: Personalized guidance incorporating whole foods and plant-based remedies to address individual health goals.

Raindrop Technique: A combination of aromatherapy, reflexology, and energy work using therapeutic-grade essential oils.

Hopi Back Technique and Cupping: Methods to alleviate chronic back pain, improve circulation, and balance energy.

Tallada Maya Massage – A traditional healing modality passed down through Maya lineage, focused on restoring energetic flow, realigning the womb and abdominal organs, and reconnecting to the body with reverence and intention. This is where I bring plants to be placed on the abdominal, this is a ritual, to feel like the goddess you are.

What sets me apart from others… My practice is distinguished by its personalized care and the integration of diverse healing modalities. Everybody is different. so this is an individual base that is tailored to their health or concerns.

For proud brand wise, is that my offers are unique. This is where my pride meets deep gratitude and humility. I don’t just offer services — I walk alongside my clients on their healing journey. I get to witness their growth, their breakthroughs, and those quiet moments where something clicks and they begin to shine like the women they were always meant to be. It’s incredibly fulfilling to watch someone make small, empowered changes and see how that ripple expands into every part of their life. That’s what fills me up — being part of that transformation.

Offerings would be about my community engagement. Community is at the heart of what I do. I offer educational herbal workshops that bring people together to learn, create, and connect through hands-on experiences. These workshops are fun, approachable, and designed to help participants make simple, meaningful changes in their health, beauty routines, and everyday wellness.

I also teach energy medicine workshops where people can learn how to support their loved ones through healing touch and energetic connection — tools that empower them to care for themselves and others.

In addition, I facilitate women’s wellness retreats that focus on empowerment, self-care, and holistic healing. These retreats offer a safe, nurturing space for women to reconnect with themselves and each other in powerful, transformative ways.

What I want readers to know about me:
I’m not just a practitioner — I’m someone who has walked the path of healing myself. I’ve faced chronic illness, burnout, and deep emotional healing. I know what it feels like to be overwhelmed, unseen, and searching for answers. That’s why I do this work. Because I’ve lived it.

I want readers to know that my space is safe, welcoming, and rooted in compassion. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions — I believe in honoring the individual, meeting people where they are, and helping them reconnect with the wisdom of their own bodies.

I’m here to remind women that they are powerful, intuitive, and capable of healing. I offer the tools, education, and support — but the real magic happens when they begin to see that for themselves.

This work is my calling, not just a career. It’s personal. It’s sacred. And I’m incredibly grateful for every woman who lets me walk beside her on her journey.

Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
