Phoenix Potions Skincare was born out of necessity, passion, and a deep belief in the transformative power of nature. My journey to creating this brand wasn’t just about skincare it was about resilience, healing, and redefining self-care through science-backed, high-performance natural ingredients.
I’ve always been drawn to the art of formulation. With combining the love of chemistry and a love for holistic wellness, I found myself questioning the products on the market. Too many were packed with fillers, ineffective concentrations, or ingredients that weren’t ethically sourced. I wanted something better something that worked without compromise.
Phoenix Potions is a reflection of my personal journey. Like the mythical phoenix, I’ve risen from challenges, including my own struggles with Lupus, and PTSD the impact of abandonment issues. Skincare became more than a business for me it became a ritual of self-care, a way to reclaim my power, and a mission to help others feel their best.
My formulations are meticulously crafted with intentional ingredients. The CBD Muscle Balm is designed for deep relief, harnessing the power of high-potency CBD with carefully chosen botanicals to target aches and tension. My Under-Eye Serum infused with arnica, sea buckthorn, and raspberry seed oil works to combat puffiness and dark circles, revitalizing tired eyes. Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Phoenix Potions Skincare was not built overnight. It has had it’s challenges, setbacks, and an unwavering belief in my vision. Like the mythical phoenix, this brand emerged from the ashes of personal and professional struggles, each one shaping me into the entrepreneur I am today.
I’ve faced financial uncertainty, moments of doubt, and the emotional weight of past trauma, including PTSD and deep-seated abandonment wounds. There were times I questioned if I could keep going if I could turn my passion for skincare into something tangible, something meaningful. But every challenge fueled my determination.
One of my biggest obstacles was breaking into an oversaturated market. The skincare industry is filled with products that claim to be revolutionary, yet so many rely on cheap fillers and gimmicks rather than effective formulations. I refused to take shortcuts. I spent years perfecting my formulas, ensuring they were not just natural but powerful, blending my chemistry background with my love for holistic healing.
Then came the reality of launching a business from the ground up. As a solo entrepreneur, I had to be everything, I am the formulator, marketer, accountant, and production manager. Resources were limited, and I was constantly stretching myself thin. There were nights I barely slept, worrying about funding, branding, and whether my products would resonate with people the way I knew they could.
And yet, through every struggle, I kept pushing. My belief in Phoenix Potions never wavered. I knew I was creating something different products that were not only effective but deeply intentional. My products are built through years of research, countless formulation trials, and an uncompromising commitment to quality. As a chemist and formulator, I refused to settle for anything less than exceptional. Every product in my line is the result of meticulous development, designed not just to feel good on the skin, but to deliver real, noticeable results.
One of the biggest challenges I faced was achieving the perfect balance of natural ingredients and effectiveness. Too often, “natural” skincare products fall short in performance, while conventional products are overloaded with unnecessary fillers. I knew there had to be a better way.
Take my CBD Muscle Balm, for example. Many pain-relief products contain CBD, but few use it in a concentration high enough to make a real difference. I formulated mine at 3,000 mg of hemp-derived CBD, paired with potent botanicals to create a balm that truly works, no gimmicks, no fluff. It was a painstaking process to get the texture, scent, and absorption just right, but the result is a deeply soothing balm designed for those who demand real relief
The Under-Eye Serum was another challenge. I wanted something powerful yet lightweight, capable of reducing puffiness and dark circles without irritating sensitive skin. After extensive research, I landed on a combination of arnica, sea buckthorn berry oil, and raspberry seed oil, ingredients known for their anti-inflammatory and brightening properties. It took multiple rounds of reformulation to find the perfect balance, but the result is a serum that feels luxurious while delivering targeted results.
