Building SWOM wasn’t a walk in the park – being an entrepreneur comes with its fair share of scrapes and triumphs.  

We, Paula and [your name], dove headfirst into this project, fueled by a shared passion for travel and a desire to make it more accessible. But let’s be honest, battling technological hiccups can feel like facing a dragon – scary and unpredictable. Managing resources proved to be a constant dance, requiring every ounce of our strategic thinking. 

Then there’s the juggling act every entrepreneur knows too well. Life throws a lot your way – marriage, kids, soccer games, recitals, that all-important workout session, and don’t forget the salon appointment! The truth is something that always seems to give. We learned to accept this reality, embracing the ups and downs. Some days, we felt on top of the world, while others left us scrambling to catch up. We’re always looking for the lessons that can be learned in any situation, including tragic ones like the Covid-19 crisis. Are there any lessons you’ve learned that you can share?
The world as we knew it shifted on its axis during Covid. For many, it was a time of hardship and uncertainty. 

But for us, it became the unlikely catalyst for SWOM. Locked down at home, travel dreams became a powerful source of inspiration. We weren’t alone in our yearning for exploration. The pandemic forced a global experiment in remote work, proving to many (including us) that location wasn’t a barrier to productivity. 

This newfound freedom ignited a profound realization – life is meant to be lived, not just endured. It’s about experiencing new cultures, soaking up foreign landscapes, and creating memories that enrich our souls. Every day is a gift, and Covid served as a stark reminder of that preciousness. The world, once seemingly out of reach, became a tantalizing prospect.
