Inspiring Conversations with Angie Noack of Braincode Centers

Today we’d like to introduce you to Angie Noack.

Hi Angie, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Raincoat centers is one of the largest brain mapping in Europe feedback companies in the country. We started close to 10 years ago with two offices and two clinicians. We are a mental health company committed to changing the world through brain health. We treat anything from anxiety, depression, PTSD trauma. But we do it through a non-medication based treatment called A (neuro) feedback. Ultimately, we are openly conditioning the brain to create new Neuro pathways! We firmly believe that the brain is capable of healing itself, it just doesn’t know how yet.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Business is never a straight line or a smooth road. We have experienced many obstacles along the way. During Covid, we were entirely an in person business. And within one day, 90% of our clientele did not want to come into the office. Fortunately, during that time we sought advice from leaders and experts in the field, and they told us to lean in. It’s very natural in times of trial to pull away and protect yourself. We chose to lean in and bet on ourselves. We doubled our marketing spend, kept all of our employees on staff, and it was the best decision we ever made.

We’ve been impressed with Braincode Centers , but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Neuro feedback is still a relatively unknown form of mental health treatment. Our mission and platform is to make it accessible! We would like it to be a part of the mental health conversation across the board. Counseling is great, there is a time in a place for medication, but Neuro feedback should also be in the mix. We have a very large, social media presence! Honestly, we are making brains sexy again. 🙂

Can you share something surprising about yourself?
Neuro feedback has impacted my life personally! At 19, I suffered a fracture, traumatic brain injury and was left with physical and cognitive deficits. Through many different types of alternative treatment, including Neuro feedback down the road, I believe that I am better than ever. My brain is an absolute machine that I couldn’t be more proud of!
