Hi Brenda, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself
I’ve been able to see Angels since I was a child. My first memory is at the age of three. I don’t see “people with wings” now and as a child they appeared as children but I could see through them. They’ve been with me all my life. After telling my Angels “Yeah, whatever you guys“ for most of my life, I finally decided to accept my gifts and use them to serve others.
Now I share the healing energy the Angels use me to channel, to help others heal.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road hasn’t been smooth, but the challenges were expected. I began seeing clients in my home but quickly realized that this might pose a problem. My office was upstairs and my healing space was in the basement. Many of my clients were unable to navigate stairs so I ended up seeing them in my living room. Not ideal.
I was fortunate to share office space with another healer for almost a year before another space became available at my current location. I’m very happy where I am now and my clientele is growing.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m an Angel Communicator, Energy Healer, and Author. I have two businesses really, The Light Of Nature and Shine Your Light Publishing. I see clients by appointment and I’ve written and published four titles-two fiction and two metaphysical non-fiction.
I see Angels and converse and intervene with them on behalf of my clients. My clientele are people looking for a way to tap into their spirituality, and people who have realized that there is more to our living in this third dimension, which is the world we’ve been born into.
The recent growth in mindfulness, manifestation, and increased self-awareness, has many of us reaching for anything that can help explain what we’re seeing, hearing, and experiencing that is outside of what we’ve been taught is ‘normal’. Intuition is sharper, and more accurate than ever before. There are indications that the way we’ve always done things, or the way our parents and grandparents did things, might not be the best way today.
I help my clients find their footing in our rapidly changing world. Many of us are starting over, career-wise, familywise, and personal growth-wise. Over the last 20 months, most of us have bid goodbye to loved ones or acquaintances who’ve died and left us here to continue without them. We’ve also lost many of the things and rituals, that will never be reclaimed. Restaurants we frequented are gone. What we’ve come to expect in the nature of ‘service’ is reduced by frustrating levels of lack. People had the opportunity, or necessity, to learn who their children, spouses, friends, and neighbors, really are, along with who they are themselves.
These are the things I help with through connecting with your Angels.
As a writer, my fantasy series provides an escape. Somewhere to go to get away from all of the change we are dealing with. A place where magic exists in the contemporary setting of where we live. A place that has a taste of the struggles we are going through, but with magic that helps provide the answers. The metaphysical titles support and supplement my healing practice giving clients and other readers another avenue of suggested solutions for everyday living.
I am proud to say that many of my clients return. I am also proud to say that my clients are usually surprised by what they receive in a session. Everyone receives what they need, even if they aren’t sure what that is.
Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
I have lived in the Denver Metro area for most of my life. What I like best is the diversity, and the ability to get away without it costing much. You can drive for 30-60 minutes in almost any direction and find a place of solitude and peace to immerse yourself in.
What I like least is how expensive it has become to live here. The cost of housing, daily living essentials, and the necessary services such as daycare, school, and transportation, etc., far outweigh the earnings of almost everyone I know. It means that self-care is always considered last, and is the first thing to be dropped from the menu. It means that many who would benefit from my services, and the services of doctors and other alternative medicine healers, don’t seek help and become clients until they’re in crisis – if they ever see anyone at all.
