Inspiring Conversations with Brittani Schuette of Balanced Wellness with Brittani

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brittani Schuette.

Hi Brittani, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My journey into holistic health began in 2015 when I was 24—fresh off birth control, counting every macro, and doing HIIT workouts twice a day. I thought I was doing everything right, but my body had other plans. I developed hypothalamic amenorrhea, anxiety, panic attacks, and cystic acne that made me dread every mirror. I was exhausted, frustrated, and confused. Every doctor’s answer was the same: “Just go back on the pill.” But deep down, I knew something wasn’t right.

That’s when I discovered the power of holistic healing. I dove into wellness podcasts and started working with a health coach who helped me uncover the root causes of my symptoms—I was running on cortisol, undereating the very nutrients my hormones needed (hello, healthy fats!), and pushing my body far past its limits.

Since then, I’ve navigated stressful jobs, pregnancy, postpartum, gut issues, viruses, and more mystery symptoms than I can count. Through it all, I’ve learned one simple truth: your body wants to heal—it just needs the right support.

Now, I empower women to take back their health and their lives through personalized nutrition and lifestyle protocols—helping them tune into their bodies, nourish themselves deeply, and let go of the “quick fix” mindset.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It’s been a fairly smooth journey, though every client comes with their own unique health concerns and level of support needed. It’s been an incredible learning experience, and I now feel confident working with a wide range of cases—from gut issues and autoimmunity to histamine intolerance. The biggest challenges have simply been continuing to expand my knowledge to keep up with my clients’ evolving needs and health goals.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Balanced Wellness with Brittani ?
I am a certified Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP) offering personalized 1:1 coaching built to help women overcome fatigue, hormonal imbalances, and digestive issues through a functional, nutrition-first approach. My goal is to support ambitious women and busy moms in overcoming hormone and gut imbalances so they can feel confident in their bodies again, without restrictive diets or burnout.

As a dedicated NTP, I combine in-depth assessments, targeted nutrition and lifestyle recommendations, and ongoing support to help my clients restore balance from the inside out—naturally and sustainably.

I utilize tools like lab work and comprehensive stool testing combined with symptoms to get to the root cause of my clients’ health concerns and eliminate the band-aid approach. This isn’t a quick fix. It’s a 3-month deep dive into my clients health with tools, education, and accountability to help my clients finally feel like themselves again.

What sets me apart is my passion for empowering women to trust their bodies’ innate ability to heal. I’m not just a practitioner—I’m also a mom, wife, entrepreneur, and homemaker. I understand how limited time and endless to-dos can make health feel like one more thing on the list. But I’ve learned that prioritizing my well-being doesn’t mean sacrificing my lifestyle or happiness—if anything, it’s what allows me to thrive.

So many women go through life feeling only half as good as they could because they’re constantly putting themselves last. I’m here to remind fellow working moms and ambitious women that it’s not selfish to put yourself first. You can prioritize your health, feel your best, and still live a full, joyful life, and show up better for yourself and others.

Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
My 2-year old daughter makes me smile and laugh every day. She is the perfect combination of feisty and sassy, and sweet and loving. I love being in nature with close friends and family. There is something so refreshing about being outside. My family and I go camping as much as we can and we are always outside walking our dogs and chasing our toddler around. I also love a quiet morning with a warm cup of coffee and a good book. Fall weather, football Sundays, chili and butternut squash soup. The cozy things in life. A lot of things make me happy! Those are just a few.
