Today we’d like to introduce you to Dani Crews.
Hi Dani, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
After several years of volunteering and serving on staff with Young Life in the Front Range, I started to wonder about my next steps in calling and career. I loved Young Life deeply – it changed my life as a high school student in the Chicago suburbs – but it felt like the Lord was opening up some new doors.
2023
My journey to start Live Wholly. Walk Boldly. began by seeking the wisdom of trusted mentors, coaches, and counselors in my life. I asked them questions like, “What gifts do you see in me?” and “Do you think I could actually step out on my own professionally?” Their responses highlighted my personal gifts in teaching and speaking, with encouragement that I really could start my own business.
2024
After a year of conversations, prayer, business coaching, and building up courage, I pulled the trigger to leave my job with Young Life. It was such a bittersweet transition, as many of the folks who encouraged and believed in me were the very people I said goodbye to. I confidently stepped into a new season of being self-employed (originally under my own LLC). The confidence in the choice always remained, but I soon began to wonder, “Oh no, what did I do?” as consecutive months of no income rolled by. By December of 2024, I had some speaking opportunities, created some resources, and clarified my mission. Yet, nothing was working financially. I came to the end of myself personally and professionally. With no more solutions or creative ideas in mind, I looked to the Lord and said, “Alright, what do you want to do? I’ve got no ideas and no money.” And so, The Table was birthed.
2025
The Table, a faith-based women’s entrepreneurship group in Colorado Springs, began as a missional idea on a PDF. Our first gathering was on January 15, 2025, and 67 women showed up! I had no idea where they all came from or how they found out about this new group. Since then, The Table has served over 240 women entrepreneurs in and around Colorado Springs who desire to build Kingdom-driven businesses. This year was also marked by a big, but deeply aligned, business structure shift from LLC to Nonprofit for Live Wholly. Walk Boldly. As of October, LWWB is now a formally recognized 501(c)(3) public charity with the IRS, where the mission to “equip individuals to live holistically in their faith in Jesus and to share that faith boldly” will grow in sustainability and impact.
The Lord has led it all, and He’s just getting started. I’m honored to be a part of it, and I can’t wait to see what comes next!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
There have been very real challenges and obstacles to starting Live Wholly. Walk Boldly.
Belief – Once I was confident enough to start Live Wholly. Walk Boldly., I still faced the doubt of strangers, friends, and family who didn’t understand the mission. They questioned my choice to walk away from a traditional W-2 job for the sake of starting my own business. I had to root myself in my “why” to carry on in the beginning stages.
Finances – I did not have any invested funds to start this business. Would I recommend that to all entrepreneurs in all contexts? Absolutely not! But I was confident enough in the mission and vision to get started anyway. However, this deeply challenged and uprooted some limiting beliefs I held regarding financial responsibility, and ultimately, identity.
Shared Risk – I couldn’t have stepped into this new venture without the full support of my husband, Andrew. Yet, in choosing this journey together, we agreed to the risks together – financially, relationally, professionally, etc. It’s been a challenging but rewarding learning curve to navigate the risks as a family unit.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Live Wholly. Walk Boldly. exists to help people live transformed by Jesus and share their faith with confidence and compassion. Through courses, books, retreats, and community gatherings, we create spaces where people can encounter God’s presence, grow in biblical understanding, and learn to communicate their stories of faith with clarity and authenticity.
What started as a personal calling has grown into a nonprofit organization that serves both individuals and ministry leaders—equipping them to lead with spiritual depth and live with purpose.
1) What do you do, what do you specialize in / what are you known for?
We specialize in creating Christ-centered experiences and resources that connect spiritual formation with real-life application. Our signature True Story Course helps people overcome fear and uncertainty around sharing their faith, using a biblical storytelling framework to guide them in understanding and communicating how Jesus has transformed their lives.
Beyond the course, we also host The Table, a monthly gathering for Christian women entrepreneurs in Colorado Springs, and Let Him Lead Retreats, which offer space for rest, renewal, and reorientation around God’s voice.
We’re known for blending spiritual depth with practical equipping—helping believers live out their calling with courage and clarity.
2) What sets you apart from others?
What sets Live Wholly. Walk Boldly. apart is our focus on transformation over information. We don’t just teach content—we cultivate encounters with God that lead to genuine heart change.
Our work is deeply relational and Holy Spirit-led, designed to meet people where they are and walk with them as they grow. Whether someone is a ministry leader, entrepreneur, or simply someone longing to reconnect with Jesus, our approach is personal, practical, and grounded in Scripture.
3) What are you most proud of brand wise?
I’m most proud of the authenticity behind the brand. Every course, book, and retreat comes from lived experience—seasons of learning to rest, to listen, walking through suffering, and living boldly in faith. Seeing people encounter God in these spaces and begin sharing their faith stories with new confidence is one of the greatest joys.
The brand has become known for being both grounded and grace-filled—beautifully designed, biblically sound, and deeply personal.
4) What do you want our readers to know about your brand, offerings, services, etc.?
I want readers to know that Live Wholly. Walk Boldly. isn’t about perfection—it’s about transformation. Whether you’re exploring faith, leading others, or longing for deeper connection with God, there’s a space for you here.
