Today we’d like to introduce you to Diana Jakubcova.
Hi Diana, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today.
I started out my business journey as most entrepreneurs – by trying everything there is to try until you find that ONE business idea that sticks.
I tried so many different business ventures, which I believe have helped shape today’s version of my Creative Agency. Our unique experiences don’t just add to our stories; they define them. It’s these distinct experiences that shape our approach, hone our strategies, and, ultimately, amplify the value we offer to the world. In a market saturated with similar concepts and business models, personal experiences become the distinguishing mark.
After all, I started my Creative Agency by selling $20 Canva templates to now securing $50k+ projects, working with the most amazing and influential business owners. But the success did not happen overnight. It’s a reflection of who I was able to become through, sometimes very difficult, experiences and lessons.
Success in business, and perhaps in life, is less about the destination and more about the journey. It’s about the resilience during challenging times. As my Creative Agency’s path reveals, it’s not just about where you start but the determination, lessons, and growth that propels you forward.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Nothing about building a business is ever smooth. But that’s the beauty of it. If you can see it of course.
I think the most challenging season is the GROWTH season in your business. This is when you know you’re about to hit that big goal of yours, but at the same time you know you’re not there yet and you need to keep pushing forward. What I always focus on is knowing that it is just temporary. The growth season and its challenges are here to get you to your final destination (or closer), so resilience and determination during this time will not go unnoticed in the future.
This season always comes in waves and for me it brought up a lot of things I needed to clear out before I could move onto the next level in my business. But this is also a great time to reflect.
Entrepreneurs, by nature, are rapid evolvers. But this rapid evolution can sometimes be a double-edged sword for us as we tend to hold onto the past versions of ourselves for such a long time that it prevents us from seeing new opportunities.
Embracing this phase, reflecting on personal growth, and shedding past limitations can pave the way for unparalleled success in the entrepreneurial world.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I run a digital Creative Agency where we help established entrepreneurs turn their brands into premium experiences. After working with dozens of online entrepreneurs I could see that there is a gap in how brands are being built these days.
While most people focus on color palettes and pretty logo suites, I wanted to dig deeper than the surface level. So I started to ask myself: “What truly makes a good brand experience? and how can I create one for our clients?”
This is where I started to develop my signature full-circle brand approach: The Deeply Rooted Method. Our method is a combination of different brand aspects including client experience and marketing. A lot of entrepreneurs focus on building surface-level brands and only tap into 10% of their true potential. This is because their brand touchpoints are not cohesive with one another, therefore their audience is not connecting with them on an emotional level.
Developing a premium brand experience is all about connecting with your ideal client on an emotional level that leads them to become a raving fan of your brand. This will lead to increased ROI, shorter sales period, premium PR opportunities, increased client retention rate and attraction of high level clientele.
It takes a partnership with someone that understands your vision and can translate it into brand brilliance. And that’s exactly what we do here at Deeply Rooted Studio.
What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
Don’t expect other people to treat you the same way you treat them.
When it comes to business, you really need to check-in with your boundaries and make sure that it is always abundantly clear to both parties involved what the scope of the project is even if you consider them your friend.
