Today we’d like to introduce you to Dylan Mey.
Hi Dylan, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
It all starts, ill give a story, when I was 18 I started helping my neighbors and friends with their tech and didn’t charge them because for me it was just fun. My dad Danny one day on the phone one day says “Dill, why don’t you start a business?”. Now my original reaction was “No way, that sound horrible. I can’t imagine being a business man”. Little did I know I would end up feeding slowing into the idea and when I was 19 I was a Starbucks manager, this was part of the COVID time so times were stuff and the idea of making the business a thing felt right. But of course I wanted to be different. I see so many repair businesses that just take advantage of people, they have knowledge and t hey use that knowledge to get more money from people. Well I hate that. so as a company we focus on sharing our knowledge with our clients and we offer are services at a reasonable and ethical rate.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The biggest challenge Ive come across is when people see you charge less they assume a lesser service so communication my company’s mission without a speech has been a challenge. Like any business we have struggled with gaining clients and making our brand bigger and bigger and honestly reading the question back of “Has it been smooth?” makes me laugh a little because I don’t think you are really every succeeding your dreams or reaching your goal without that challenge. Not that its bad question of course.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Mr.Dylan’s Tech Service LLC?
We specialize in repairing any and all technology, anything from your printer to your data center cabling or home security, you name it, we do it.
You should know that we are known for being a very honest service, I have worked and worked ways to make this such a specific category.
We are set apart from other because we focus so much time on making our customers not only loyalty but comfortable with us, as ive mentioned before there are so many tech companies that just take money from people and half the time don’t even finish the job. As a story, you can imagine I’m helping an 80 year old women login to her computer. My job isn’t to reset her password as much as its to help her understand how she can reset her password and by doing that I am passing that understanding and confidence to her. As a brand we are expanding to different location around the states while keeping true to our mission.
I’d like the readers to know we can fix their computers and any other tech while they watch or learn how to do so themselves. We don’t hide behind a room and pretend to be magic, we show what needs to be done.
Alright, so to wrap up, is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
As a general message, I’d love for everyone to know they don’t have to be concerned with using their own electronics. Thats something we hear time and time again, its the “I feel like I’m going to brake it if I try”. That comes from the societal belief that only technicians are capable of fixing these things, that you need a big degree to understand when really you just need some time and confidence in yourself.
