Today we’d like to introduce you to Jarina Kong.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I began my Chiropractic journey when I was a teenager. My family had always considered Chiropractic care as part of our routine health care. As I was making my way through my undergraduate degree at the University of Nevada, Reno, I decided on taking the Chiropractic career route. Once I completed my undergraduate degree I attended Palmer College of Chiropractic, West. The program was intense and pushed me, but I appreciated the growth I experienced and passion that grew as I completed my doctorate degree. As an associate Chiropractor straight out of school, I gravitated toward Prenatal care. I continued to take more continuing education courses to gain the knowledge I needed to provide the best care. That led me into Pediatric chiropractic care as well. I bonded well with mothers and babies, so I went all in with that niche. My husband and I moved to the Castle Rock area to begin our next chapter and decided to open up Bloom Chiropractic. My focus was to be apart of a community where I could raise my own family and also provide a specialized focus of care for mothers and their little ones.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Opening up a new business is not easy. I’ve learned a lot and continue learning. At the end of the day, seeing patients improve and reach those goals, reminds me what my “WHY” is. Chiropractic care works for everyone and I love sharing why newborns and pregnant woman thrive with specialized care.
We’ve been impressed with Bloom Chiropractic, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Bloom Chiropractic provides specialized pediatric and prenatal care.
We don’t treat or cure; we increase your body’s ability to heal and adapt to the ever-changing stress in our lives.
Let us help you achieve your health goals with specialty chiropractic care.
I want mothers to know that creating life takes work before they are born and continues on after. I try to provide the space and time for them to feel welcome in my office.
What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
I believe that my growth mindset has gotten me to where I am today. I try to keep a positive spin on things and I view failure as a stepping stone to success.
