Today we’d like to introduce you to Kenna Seawell

Hi Kenna, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I graduated from Oregon State University with a Bachelors Degree in Interior Design and a minor in Business. After working in the Design field for several years, we suddenly hit the pandemic and I realized I wanted to pursue something new and challenging, yet still related to homes and residences. My husband had originally recommended Real Estate and the rest is history. I love being a business owner, overcoming challenges, learning everyday, and helping people invest in themselves and their families. I wouldn’t trade it for the world!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Starting a business in general and going from a typical 9-5 to what can sometimes feel like a 24/7 job is certainly tough sometimes! There are so many positives with owning and running your own business, but that does not negate the fact that there are certainly challenges, sometimes daily ones. Figuring out how to start a business, run a business, adjust to market changes, adapt to situations and emergencies with clients, negotiating contracts etc. On the flip side, I do believe that challenges are there for you to learn and grow and ultimately make you a better business and business owner.

Keys with Kenna is a personalized one-on-one experience supporting any and all people looking to build wealth through Real Estate. My personal philosophy is to take what feels like an extremely overwhelming experience and break it down into bite-sized pieces and do it 100% by your side every step of the way. My favorite clients to work with are first-time homebuyers because I have personally been in their shoes and I love to show them that A) if I can do it – they DEFINITELY can and B) This process doesn’t’ need to be as scary and intimidating as it is made out to be. I, of course, also love and support Sellers, Investors, Landlords, Tenants and second or third time Buyers as well. The most important thing to me is that if you want to work with me, you will work with me and me alone. I never want my clients to feel they are being passed off, ever. This experience is personalized, exclusive, and tailored to my clients and their needs.

What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
Mistakes are the best way to learn and make yourself and your business better every day.
