Hi Liba, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
In early 2020 my husband broke his leg badly. He started using CBD to ease pain, reduce inflammation, and speed up healing and it worked really well. We started toying with the idea of starting a business but it wasn’t until I gave birth to my second son that things really got serious. It was at the start of the pandemic, I had just given birth, my husband hadn’t worked in months and life was really terrifying to me. I was not able to function and anxiety and stress paralyzed me. My husband started handing me CBD and asking me to take it. I did, and several days later I realized I was feeling OK! I wasn’t staying in bed. I was able to care for my kids. the fear of going to sleep at night and waking up again disappeared. I knew I needed everyone to know they had options. Natural, simple, and easy options that worked! 

That is how reliveate was created. All of our products are made using the patented Pure Water(™) extraction method. The only solvent + chemical-free extraction method in the world. Our hemp is grown in the Boulder area and extracted in Boulder, CO.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Definitely not. 

Starting a business takes a lot more than we think. being a solopreneur, trying to bootstrap but still move along in growing my business is very tough. For the first year + of business, my baby was home with me. I would get what I could do during naptimes and in the evening. Constantly doubting if I was crazy for doing this, and then getting a message from a customer thanking me for saving their lives- and getting back up again.

I am the owner and founder of reliveate. Reliveate is a boutique-style hemp brand that carries cannabinoid-infused products that are made here in CO.

What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
I believe CBD and other cannabinoids will be everywhere. The problem is we will have lots of low-quality products that are and will hurt the industry. At reliveate, we are trying to combat that by delivering quality as it should be, as well as educating our customers so they feel empowered to make informed choices.
