Inspiring Conversations with Marlo Quade of Brick & Main Real Estate

Today, we’d like to introduce you to Marlo Quade.

Hi Marlo, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My love for all things Real Estate began years ago when I was recruited to lease luxury properties in Golden, Colorado, while still in college. After earning my B.S. in Biology/Chemistry at MSU, I developed my Real Estate new construction knowledge while representing America’s largest home builder, DR Horton, as a Community Sales Manager.

I am grateful for my many years of success in Real Estate (even during the down market) and I am proud of the fact that I was able to team up with my husband in 2012. Prior to training Jason in Real Estate, I trained him at the Belmar Olive Garden, where I was a Certified Trainer while working through college prior to getting married in 2001. I continued my enthusiasm for training as a Team Leader mentoring and training new Real Estate agents for several years.

In 2018, we started Brick & Main Real Estate, a local boutique full-service Real Estate brokerage. At Brick & Main Real Estate, our success comes from serving the needs of our many wonderful clients. We understand that buying and selling a home can be as much of an emotional decision as it is a financial investment and one of the biggest decisions of our client’s lives. We provide genuine service and always put our clients first.

Aside from Real Estate, everyone close to me knows that I am extremely passionate about animal welfare. I strongly believe in volunteering and I am currently the Vice President for the charity board Friends of Foothills Animal Shelter. In addition to volunteering my time at the shelter, we are monthly paw members and make donations to Foothills Animal Shelter every month.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The Denver Metro Real Estate market is ever-changing, and we have been experiencing very low inventory for many years now. Due to consistently increasing property values and higher mortgage interest rates, housing affordability remains an issue for many buyers. Quite a few of our clients have decided to sell and move out of state.

We’ve been impressed with Brick & Main Real Estate, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We are animal lovers who just happen to be Passionate Expert Real Estate Agents! Therefore, we take pride in helping “Furry Kids” and their families purchase their “Fur-ever Home.” And sell it for another one.

We are proud supporters of Foothills Animal Shelter! As mentioned before I am the Vice President of the charity board, Friends of Foothills Animal Shelter. We are so grateful for our many animal-loving clients and their continued support which gives us the ability to pay it forward and support this amazing organization.

Can you share something surprising about yourself?
I grew up on a farm in North Dakota and I have been a vegetarian my entire life!
