Today we’d like to introduce you to Megan Bortner.

Hi Megan , thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’ve been in marketing since 2010, beginning my career in consulting with Fortune 500 brands. In 2017, I founded Labyrinth Digital to focus on scaling eCommerce brands in a more hands-on way. Over the past eight years, we’ve helped growing brands achieve measurable results through strategic, data-driven marketing.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It’s been a lot of fun, and I’ve truly enjoyed the journey, but entrepreneurship is never easy. We faced a lot of uncertainty in 2020, and this year has been challenging with tariffs impacting many of the brands we work with, since a lot of them manufacture products overseas.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
We’re a growth marketing agency that takes a strategic, consulting-first approach with every client. We start by identifying goals and building a tailored marketing roadmap to guide growth. Our services include marketing strategy, marketing analytics, paid media management, and email/SMS marketing. Most of our clients are scaling eCommerce brands, businesses that sell products online and we specialize in helping them grow efficiently.

What sets us apart is our hands-on, data-driven approach combined with a focus on strategy before tactics, ensuring every action is purposeful. We’re proud to have helped brands not only grow but also understand their audiences better and make smarter marketing decisions.

Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
I’m originally from rural Indiana and grew up on a farm. One of my favorite childhood memories was raising and showing beef steers in 4H. Those days taught me responsibility and the value of hard work.
