Hi Mike, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
For Colorado tinting, that journey began with Mike at just 17 years old. While most teenager were still figuring out what they want to do in life, Mike was already learning the art of window tint and paint protection film installation. From long days in the shop to countless hour perfecting his craft, he dedicated himself to mastering every detail of the trade.
Over the years, Mike worked with and help many different shops throughout Colorado, From Aurora to Thornton. Ever experience taught him something new- not only about installation, but about customer service, quality, and the importance of doing thing the right way. As his skills and reputation grew, so did his dream of creating a shop that truly stood out from the rest.
The dream became reality when Colorado Tinting was born.
It didn’t start in a massive warehouse or with wealthy investors. It started in a small RV storage unit as a one man operation. Mike handled everything him self- From answering call, to installation, to hauling in his own water just to complete jobs. There were long nights, early morning and plenty of challenges, But quitting was never an option. His mission was bigger than just tinting windows. He wanted to provide high- quality installation using premium materials while also educate his community about the benefit of window tint and paint protection.
What started as a small operation fueled by passion and determination has no grown into something much bigger. Today Colorado tinting operated out of a over 4000 Sq ft facility with growing team of six dedicated team members who share the same commitment to quality and customer care.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Colorado Tinting’s journey wasn’t build overnight. Like many small Mom and pop businesses, the road came with long days, sleepless nights and constant challenges. Finding affordable location for Mike’s business on of one the most difficult challenge. For a small business, finding an affordable space in a growing Colorado market wasn’t easy. Rent prices kept climbing, and many location simply didn’t fit the vision or budge.
Than came 2020, a year that tested small businesses everywhere. Costs increase, and Uncertainty made it difficult to know what the future would hold. But instead of giving up,Colorado tinting push through by continuing to provide honest work, quality installation and dependable service to the community.
As years went on competition grew rapidly. More “fancy” tint shop and Tiktok famous shop open all around Centennial, make it harder for small independent business to stand out. But Colorado Tinting stayed focused on what made them different- attention to detail and truly care about every customer. We build relationship not translations.

Colorado Tinting specializes in professional window tint for home, business and automotive. Paint protection film (clear bra), paint correction, and ceramic coating for vehicle, boats and motorcycles.
We want to use our window tint protection people from the harmful UV, the material we use offer 99% UV protection and is recommendation by the Skin Cancer Association. We want to re-educated people that window tint doesn’t have to be dark to give you UV protection. We offer almost clear tint that will still offer the same benefit for your home, business and vehicles.
We also want to also protect your investment. As a native to Coloradan, I know how rock chips can damage and devalue your vehicle, With salt and magnesium chloride on the roads in the winter that can cost a lot of issues for the paint.

If You’re considering window tinting or paint protection film, don’t rely solely on TikTok, Instagram or other social medial for your research. Take the time to learn about the products and brand first, then choose an installer with proven experience and a strong reputation.
Few of the most important questions can ask: What brand of material do you us? How many years of experience does the installers have? Does the owner(s) have any experience in installation? IF they don’t have hands on installation experience, consider that a potential red flag. The quality of the installation is just as important as the quality of the product.
Fun fact:
Most SUV and Trucks comes with factory “tint” in the back passenger and rear window. But that’s just dyed glass. Most of them doesn’t give you much UV protection and no heat rejection. We can tint over it without making it much darker and give you and your family more protection.
