Jordan Norman’s Stories, Lessons & Insights

Jordan Norman shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.

Jordan, it’s always a pleasure to learn from you and your journey. Let’s start with a bit of a warmup: What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
Surfing! I’ve been learning how for about a year+ now after living my entire life landlocked in Colorado… so fun!

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi, I’m Jordan Norman! I wear a few different hats, but at the heart of everything I do is a deep love for helping people reconnect to themselves — whether that’s through mindfulness, movement, or understanding their bodies on a deeper level.

I run a solo wellness business where I offer everything from meditation and yoga to sound healing, Reiki, and fertility awareness education. I teach women how to tune into their cycles, support their hormone health naturally, and feel more empowered in their bodies. I also host retreats, teach livestream and in-person yoga, and offer coaching for people looking to live with more intention — whether that means traveling the world or starting their own purpose-driven work.

What makes my work special is how integrated it is — science, spirituality, and self-trust all live in the same space. Right now, I’m really excited about my course #ReclaimYourInnerWisdom, which guides women through using the Fertility Awareness Method not just for birth control or conception, but as a way to reclaim their health and autonomy. I’m also building out some digital guides and e-courses to make this work even more accessible.

This journey has been shaped by my own personal healing and curiosity, and I’m always evolving alongside it. I’m just really grateful to be able to hold space for others in such a meaningful way.

Okay, so here’s a deep one: Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
Before the world told me who I had to be, I was just a little girl with big ideas and an even bigger imagination. I’ve always had an entrepreneurial streak — I used to put a tip jar out while doing chores (just in case someone wanted to support the hustle 😅), started a magazine to keep my big family in the loop on “important news,” and even recorded my own songs and sold them on cassette tapes when I was about 8.

Looking back, it makes so much sense. I’ve always loved creating, sharing, and dreaming up new things. I didn’t have the language for it then, but I think I always knew I wasn’t meant to follow a traditional path. I’ve just always felt pulled to carve out something of my own — something meaningful, something that connects people. That energy still fuels everything I do today.

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
I think I’d tell her: You don’t have to try so hard to be good, to be liked, or to do it all perfectly. You are already enough, exactly as you are. I’d remind her that her sensitivity is a strength, not something to shrink. That her ideas matter, her voice matters, and she doesn’t need to wait for permission to take up space. Just keep trusting that little fire inside you — it’s going to take you somewhere beautiful.

Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? Is the public version of you the real you?
Absolutely. But I think people often misunderstand those of us in the healing arts. There’s this tendency to put us on some kind of guru pedestal, as if we’ve figured it all out or are supposed to radiate “good vibes only” 24/7. That couldn’t be further from the truth.

Most of us are drawn to this work not because we’re healed — but because we’re healing. Yoga, spirituality, sound healing, meditation… they’ve all been tools on my own path back to myself.

For me, being in this space isn’t about perfection — it’s about presence. It’s about holding space for the full spectrum of who we are: the dark, the light, and everything in between. That’s the real me — and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. If you retired tomorrow, what would your customers miss most?
I think they’d miss the way I make them feel — seen, heard, and reminded of their own power.

Whether it’s through a meditation, a sound bath, a course, or a conversation, I hold space with deep care and realness. I don’t show up as some unattainable version of wellness — I show up as myself, and I invite others to do the same.
